Samantha, I reckon it was a weekend for it you know. It's definately harder when it's sunny out I've decided. There's something for me about driving to Tesco, I have to drive past a pub that has a huge outside area at the front with nice benches, pretty lights in the evening, loads of lovely plants and shrubs. God it looks so inviting! Plus it's right by the traffic lights and s0ds law means I'm always sat at a red light watching all these people sat out there enjoying themselves in the sunshine with a cold beer  Do I sound resentful :D

    You are sooooo right!
Hadn`t thought of it like that, but yes! On Saturdays drive from work, I passed at least 6, yes thats 6, pubs and because it was 7pm and a nice sunny evening, they all had people outside, either cose of smoking ban or thats where beer garden is!
So I didn`t fall, I was pushed pysocologically(sp) speaking, or am I just passing the buck??

No Beer, although I was tempted by the wine thats in fridge from last night!
    6/31 May (1 bottle of wine & 1 can cider in fridge - day1){lets see how long that lasts!?!}

Watching celeb rehab o fiver - fascinating! Some of them are sooo ful of s***!!
Samatha if you have it in the house & cant not have it why not get rid of it! Makes it sooo much easier than having it screaming "drink me" from the fridge!

I know that thanks, but the MSE in me keeps thinking you paid for it, don`t tip it down the sink!

I have a birthday party to go to & I will be driving, so I want to try & keep it as the gift. Will lock it in the shed - can`t hear it from down the bottom of the garden!!!

Besides having it on my `signiture` with you lot will make me show will (or is that No )power!

When I made the move, I had a bottle of chilled lager in the fridge (Mrs B's), a 4 pack of Fosters that I'd been given as a present that was not the original pack as I'd kept drinking it and replacing it.....and a bottle of port from a buy one get one free.

I think the Port went to a raffle, Mrs Bismarck started on the special Czech lager that was hers a few days after D-day, had a sip and came upstairs and said she didn't want to finish it.

I looked at her, terrified..."WHAT HAVE YOU DONE WITH IT?"

"I poured it away" she said...."didn't fancy it any more"

    "good" I said, relieved.

The 4 pack of Fosters stayed somewhere in the garage for 8 months until I'd forgotten to buy my brother a birthday present and there it was : the perfect present - one pack of nicely chilled, especially important pack of Fosters...

    One step at a time!

Each event you manage strengthens you....

The toughest used to be the aisles of supermarkets....now I just chuckle inside and say a version of the Lords Prayer in my head.

"yeah though I walk in the valley of the shadow, I will not fear evil"

and I walk though and nothing's appeared in my basket...and my will is strengthened still further.

Thank you for this post Bismarck, one day I hope to achieve this day after day rather than keep falling at the first hurdle.

Needless to say, and as predicted yesterday, I've already caved. Going docs later today hopefully if I can get an appointment and will pour it out to the poor bloke. Lucky for him he is completely unaware of what is gonna walk in through the door later :rotfl:

Hope you all have a lovely day :)
