Hiya Wendy, how are you today? I bet you're looking forward to your holidays. I miss our camper but still toying with the idea of getting another tent. You can't beat sleeping under the stars. I'm sure a good break will help you and all that fresh air will do you the world of good.

Hols not till end of August but Im sure it will be here before we know it! Looking forward to it even though its alot of work its worth it.

Kids finished scholl yesterday so less pressure in the mornings now just wanting to eat every five minutes going by previous breaks. Havent updated my Spending Diary but I should just be under the £250. Keep wanting to get takeout in the evenings after work though, resisted so far.

Another surprise free lunch yesterday so just £2.18 of rubbish in the morning for me .

Hoping to finish earlish today so we can shop for DD2s party because Im out tomorrow. Also got the dentist for them to fit in. I dont think OH is leaving the house today until he gets his reward for not smoking for over two weeks. His presious Everton shirt was due yesterday and he waited in all day for them to come the 10 minutes he was at school!

GR I think alot of people on the boards are taking time out. You seemed happier in your last postings things are going well with J whch is great just need to block out that witch at work.

Ohh since this is supposed to be a money saving diary I forgot to say got my amended Tax code through so hopefully wages will go up a bit soon, Guessing £40 a month.

£24 kids dentist (although thats reclaimable)
£1.20 parking,
£1.40 jacket potato for my lunch.
£12.50 in Wollies for party bits
£60 ish on a tesco online shop - some party stuff mostly main shop for week.
£25 in Tesco - mostly party stuff and a couple of groceries on sale and milk
£133.00 in Halfords for bike for DD2 and helmet and pads for DS who after the last couple of weeks (various nasty bumps) needs them.

Good news is that other than the Tesco online shop all went on my debit card so although I may be overdrawn until payday tomorrow I know where I am and how little money there is left. If I have to scrimp on Groceries and Holiday spends then so be it my own blooming fault.

Busy day

Work at 8, back at home 10.40 to pick up kids, brief 10min stop at work again, then into town with kids for their dentist appointment (11.20 to be seen at closer to 12.20 :mad:) rushed to wollies and back as parking about to run out. 1.30 back at work till 4.30. Then mowed lawn, cooked dinner although cheated and did soup n bread, went to Halfords and Tescos and then online shop phew. Cant accuse myself of being lazt today lol!

:j PAYDAY!! :j £150 ish more than expected so I guess thats the taxcode setting in need to get payslip to findout. Down side is I missed £210 expenses into my account so now not got that to come. I dont understand how I missed it though I check almost everyday .

Looks like I going to be very broke this month will have to do a budget but not sure when Ill feel brave enough and have the time. Me feels a set back coming on .

W**k today need to get back asap and limit spending (sssh - chance of getting some good and hopefully bargain campng gear) still got 1/4 of lawn todo, bake DS2 birthday cakes a £1.24 rainbow cake and a lemon drizzle cake (strange child loves it and anything fruity). Check I have everything for party think OH will be on a last minute shop to Mr T tomorrow :rotfl: . Tidy house as although OH started and made an improvment lots still to go.

rough budget does not look good:

Income 2223
bills and other spends already done 2120
Surplus 103 to cover this months outgoings so soe will have to go on cc.

Do have £142 to claim back from work and health care insurnace to add to that and some Diesel costs from work but that will be minimal this month.

No money left for holiday Ive blown it all how bad am I? Good news is its at the end of the month so can use next pay day to help. My fillings will be put on hold for a few months till I get back on board.

Some good news is I have £170 due from quidco of which £70 already recevied and £500 saved for xmas which will help with the birthdays around there too.

Frugal grocery spends needed and I gutted that if I do buy today I havent really got the money for it. Ive been waiting over a year for this stuff. I have a zero % card to use so I may spread cost on there if its a good deal.

Not going to talk about what I brought today Oh will not be happy.

Anyways still loads to do for tomorrow and I cant think stright so a list is needed.

To Do in no particular order

Dinner (jacket spuds mmm)
Bath very grubby kids
Fix pool with OH
Finish tidying garden
Start tidying front room, downstairs loo for tomorrows invasion
Bake birthday cakes
Start food prep for tomorrow
Look at party bag stuff to see if we have enough same for food really. Have already forgotten boys items for the two boys.
Break news to OH about the very nice camping fridge I brought for a good but still expensive price
Run for cover:D .
