  • Found ash in the sink OH says its dirt from the kids washing their hands  .
OH's DLA is being reveiwed and they have stopped his payments but he didnt know so has overspent by £40 so thats come out of my account.

Had to fill up with Diesel today. I didnt know if I had enough to pay. Put £10 in first to get me there and back and paid cash. Then when I know BP took Amex I filled up on the way back.

Will do expenses later hopefully as left site early today. I have just got back it feels wierd to be home so early.

Oh and OH and I keep smelling patrol around the Cavalier. Doesnt look like a leak but concerned at what it is. I still owe £87.50 to the mechanic for the MOT.

Trying not to let it get me down but cant face seeing how much or rather how little is in the account. DD2 has dentist tomorrow so thatll be at least £80.

Back in a bit off to catch up.

    SPENDS:

    Diesel - 10+53
Lunch 3 - will recliam £2 - how desperate am I at the mo :o
    OH £40

  • Exciting evening here, watching tele, cleaning up DS puke. Arent kids lovely! Looks like he shoved too much food in his mouth.

    Declared planned spend for tomorrow
    • DD2 Dentist - guessing £80 ish as tooth dying and hygeinist booked, not looking forward to but should be able to claim back. Its just the time in between thats going to be tight.
    • Work lunch so hopefully no spends there.
    • Parking will factor in 1.20-1.70 max.
Avoiding buying any groceries and going to do whatevers in the freezer/cupboard/fridge mix ups. Hope I can stretch fresh stuff for a couple more days.

Worked out budget and £98 over  - I do have a £250 o/d to use but the £98 does not include any other spends not on cc ie dentist. Really must do expenses....she keeps saying.... as that not included either so may come out ok but will be without any holiday spends unless any monies from carboot/quidco or OHs mate.

Its my birthady at the end of the month so it may be a case of asking Mum for some spending cash as a present. No present due from OH thats the camping fridge I brought myself :o .

  • Right Im just off to finsih getting ready for work I want to get in early to get a desk and start those blooming expenses I keep harping on about.

Chicken in the slow cooker for later, mmmm.

Looked at changing gas/electric but I have left it too late no capped deals. Imight switch to scottish power online to get the £72 quidco cash back but I think I am already behind with eon and dont have the money to catch up quick/ Have done updated readings so will look at the weekend.

Increased od from £250 (barely used since last year) to £1000 . Hope to not need anywhere near that. Was going for £500 but bank said I could have up to £7500  so Id though I take a bit more just in case. £7500 so much for credit crunch I already owe them the loan.

Morning Wendy, hope you manage to get your expenses sorted, every little helps.

I take it you couldn't get an NHS dentist for the kids. I was lucky with mine they are both free, it's horrendous the amounf of money we have to spend on medical stuff isn't it. We also get free prescriptions here in Wales which is a big help.

Hope you don't need the OD but it was a good idea to have a little bit more than needed just in case. It's better than incurring charges.

Hope you have a good day and keep the spends low.
  • Thanks GR

No free lunch they over ran and DD2 dentist more important. So ended up spending £3.88 at Greggs for lunch for me and a treat each for the kids after the dentist.

Dentist £75  - thats £40 filling and £35 the girls being shown how to clean properly. Can claim all this back so will do that next. DD2 needs two other fillings in baby teeth but as they are not hurting and Ill be up to the £100 claim limit she'll just have to wait till they fall out. I hope the 335 lesson pays off.

Very few NHS round here and the two I have used I wouldnt go to again so wont put my kids through that. One of them left OH bleeding for two days.

    Parking £1.50

Choc 45p for me and £1 for family - 9 wagon wheels

DD2 got new present a password diary for £20 that ny mum will refund me for.

So not too bad a day.

  • Tomorrows planned spends -

Probably the weekly shop aim - £40 max

DS has a party and I havent got a present I may have something about to use if not thats another £5

Nothing else planned money wise. Want to prep properly for car boot so if Im on tomorrow and I havent started then please feel free to:naughty: tell me off.

£128+£63 expenses put in today :T which I hope will clear by the 15th at the latest. Not important really as long as its on its way.

Dentist claim to do next should be - £55 me + £24 kids +£75 DD2 = 154 which should help the bank balance a bit.

well done...keep up the good work. Dentist are a pain arent they eh! Were relatively lucky here wth nhs but still costs an arm & leg under new fundig in wales which is now same as uk! we used to be cheaper but at least we get free prescriptions.... How did car boot go? Weather dire here...

  • Carboot tomorrow, car all packed just need the rugs and a bit of food n drink to go in. DDs have been sorting out their stuff as well in hope of raising fome cash. To be honest Imnnot thathopeful Ill make much tomorrow nothing really worth much in car boot standards. Can but try. I just want rid of most of it now so will take almost anything for most of it. Im hoping quantity will add up in the end.

Grocery shop didnt go to plan did it last night to avoid saturday shopping and I was being nagged to get squash. Spent £59 150% of my budget:eek: . I can see where I went worng a few unplanned extras needed and a few bulk items that could have been done without. Must try harder. Im still below other months so not all bad.

£3.50 - OH in Tesco for a couple of missed bits and other than that I was doing really well until OH asked if I wanted anything, hes going out for tictacs (i think he sneaks out for fags cus I have noticed things although he still hasnt admitted anything - am I bad for not trusting him  ? Anyways my resolve went and egg frid rice for £1.80 on its way:o .

Please keep your fingers crossed for me tomorrow guys, need dry weather (no the best start here but been dry most the day )and lots of people really really wanting my stuff ;) .
