  • No interest on ebay but like Dizzy says hopefully some good movement Sunday. Long day in fact long week at work so glad its the weekend. Nothing planned, may do carboot in good forecast.

Spent just under £3 on lunch today well if you call 250g chocolate bar and bag of walkers lunch! Not going to help with weight loss. Thats going ok no real movement slightly down at best stable at worst.

A bit bored so been playing with calculator to work out dfd if I over pay £25, 50 or £75 a month. Can get it down to 56 months with the £75 which will be less and thats not allowing for early interest. Stupid bank keep telling me I can overpay and pay less interest but they cant tell me how that is affecting the interest so a guessing game. Any overpayment just lowers the set amount by the payment made.

OH just handed over £100 so need to get to bank before I spend any of it. One week to pay day and a free night out.

Off to check cc spend worried itsover my planned limit when I allow for todays petrol and tommorrows grocery. Could use cash for shoppiing but like having a few interest free days c/o tescos!

  • cc says I have £65 left so that should cover shopping as GC says 37.81 including the £20 I have mentally added on (confused yet!?). Hope I can get away without filling the car until next Sat. Only out again next Wed so doable.

Dont worry not near cc limit just a mental £600 I have budgetted for in Mays figures. Usually aim for £500 but desk and golf club to be added for.

  • Got £30 refund in total from Talk Talk, took a while but worth it.It shouldnt take 2-3 hours to sort a simple problem out and then get lied to.

Overspent of Grocery budget so didnt claw back my £50. Still not too bad overall. Cupboard andb fridge full and freezer reasonable so shouldnt need anything else till payday.

Made some breadrolls today and about to start some pizza dough for HM pizzas tonight. Was going to to twink hob nobs but that will probably be tomorrow now.

Not doing carboot tomorrow too cold and said to Mum I would take the kids out with her and nephew tomorrow. Stupid me got her a prezzie then forgot the birthday. Bad daughter.

  • No luck on ebay so relisted one item but will give the others a miss think postage too high as they are heavy items.

Went out with kids and spent £12.75 got into an argument with another Mum. Longstory but I did stand my ground a bit too much so feel bad. My family are lovely but doormats so I dont want to be the same sometimes it backfires.

HM Pizza great again and did do hobnobs so easy and yummy. Used most of my butter so will need some more of that before the end of the week.

Now I know you lot wont like this but OH going cross the channel next Sat with my BIL. He dont get paid again for another two weeks so I will have to give him the spending money. He doesnt get to socialise much and its the driving rather the cigerettes he is looking forward to most. Its too good to miss. Hopefully he will be able to up the money he pays me for a while to compensate. I need to let he do stuff he enjoys a he is very down and doenst have much to look forward to I have you lot and work! The Golf club is a success so at least money not wasted.

Need to do carboot on Sun now to recoup some funds. This will be prepared for on Sat with me on my own with kids and a hangover c/o work do (so no shouting next week anyone!).

    Night all.

  • OH had to go to shop for butter and milk but hasnt asked me for money so so far NO SPEND DAY. Not had one of those for a while.Looking for a new top tomorrow for night out. Naughty I know but I really dont have many good tops that fit at the mo. Still got some weight to shift. The few I have everyone has seen a dozen times and are tired looking. Hope to keep spend to a minimum as clothes budget not looking good. The thing is Ive never have spent much on clothes so I havent got loaded of unworn stuff hidden away.A pathetic sale on Amazon that I may lose money on as had to send as under 100g to make 20p profit. I weighed any where between 99 and 102g. Ebay a waste of time and nowt good left on Amazon that isnt going for silly prices. Not sure what else to do for extra monies now. Will prepare carefully for car boot and iron DS and DD2 clothes so hopefully will get a better price for them (the clothes that is!!).Gave chq dated friday over for xmas savings so now up to £400 when it clears. Savings account looking good at £1112. Current account not so good close to nowt but not needed OD yet.Anyone got any ideas what flogs on ebay or have I bored you all away? Getting nervous now as getting closer to the time of year when money is alot tighter.

Evening! Hope you manage to find a bargain with the clothes hunt tomorrow, look on it as a challenge! Don't suppose you've got any designer outlets near you? Monsoon in Castleford had absolutely masses of stuff for as little as a fiver when I was there a couple of weeks ago, and there's always something in the Next or M&S outlets for a good price. If that fails, give Primark a go!
  • Never though of Monsoon thanks. We do have Bicester village outlet site half hour away which can be good but this is a lunch trip to town. Fingers crossed there is still some sales on. I rarley go into town so no idea.

Good news with clothes - next door have just given DD1 some. Good timing as she has had a second growth spurt in a few months and outgrown the trousers I brought in Jan. Shes tiny though so shouldnt happen too often.

D'oh! Never been into a Peacocks so can't comment! TK Maxx might be your best bet, see if there's anything in the red rails. Or Asda - they had some really nice stuff on sale rail last week.

I used to live in Bicester but only until I was 2 so doubt the outlet was there back then!
  • Have you tried Tescos? I went there at the weekend and there was a 20% sale and quite a few nice tops, worth a looksy and the clubcard points as well :D

Thinks are just so expensive aren't they!! Seriously thinking of emigrating today.....
