Hi Wendy - you've done really well today and certainly put me to shame. I had a list of things to do but have done absolutely nothing. Maybe tomorrow....0

Thanks GR Im surprising myself with how productive I can be when I put my mind to it. All to often I do nothing over a weekend. Anyway you deserve a bit of me time and you have been helping out family today.:j0

This is a muffin recipe that I cant seem to print from the index so trying to copy and paste here.
1/2lb self raising flour
6oz sugar
4oz melted butter
1 egg
2 tsp baking powder
8 fl oz milk
1/2 lb anything you want to flavour them
Method
mix all dry ingredients together
beat egg
mix melted butter, milk and beaten egg into dry ingredients
Don't over mix, it should be the constitency of lumpy porridge, don't be afraid of adding more flour if you think it looks too wet, or tasting it to see if it's sweet enough.
bake at 200oC for 20 mins.
this should make about 10 - 12 depending on how much you fill the muffin cases, I prefer to make 8 HUGE ones from that mix.
I'll double check the recipie tonight to make sure that's 100% correct:j0 -
Feeling abit out of sorts today nowhere near as productive as yesterday although half the day seems to have been spent as a taxi for the girls. Added another £5.29 to Grocery list for top ups. Forgot squash and then used butter up in the biscuits.
Cooking wise I have prepped another bag of carrots for freezer and made a massive batch of mince and veg (will freeze half). Kids dont like it. I dont know how to get them to eat anything other than burgers and sausages sometimes. Made some biscuits and will let the kids loose on decorating them in a bit if they ever finish their dinners.
£10 gone for birthday presents (it was a joint party). Put body shop order in. Kept putting it off. Didnt get as many orders as I had wanted.:j0 -
Try not to worry too much about the body shop orders. Every little helps. I know what you mean about getting the kids to eat their food. DD eats absolutely everything you put in front of her, DS will only eat chicken and potatoes!
I've had a really good day today. Seemed to have done loads. Have had a hot bath put clean jamas on and now gonna chill out in front of the tv.0 -
Wendy you're doing loads and you seem so motivated, don't worry about feeling out of sorts. Probably just your mind wanting you to take it a bit easy and have a little rest. Ds and I made some peanut butter cookies yesterday. They were so good we nearly ate them all before they'd even cooled!
Hope you feel better soon.

Thanks guys. I just had a rest upstairs. I think all this activity and the clock change has confused my body a bit.:j0
