Know what you mean about amazon...I took everthing off as I just couldnt compete for 1p & it wasnt worth it - lost money by the time youve paid postage & envelopes! Going for green metropolis now! Sell occasionally but always nice when the email comes & nice that its the recycle principle too! Also going to investigate local market do a car boot & ask library if they would buy bulk end hand as I have hundreds of books & just want to get rid of some cos theyre taking over!
Hope the tabs help! hugs for you!Nerd no 109 Long haulers supporters DFW #1! Even in the darkest moments, love and hope are always possible.0 -
Hi Wendy,
i've just read through your thread. Wow you've made some progress and seem to have changed so much in a few short months.
The only thing that jumped out at me was that your OH seems to have £150 "me" money and that you have£??? plus of course theoverspends (newsagent, petrol) when you've had to bail him out. Seems a little unfair. Hope I don't seem rude.CCs @0% £24k Dec 05 £19,621.41 Au £13400 S 12600 Oct £11,981 £9481 £7500 Nov £7250 D £7100 Jan 6950 F £5800 Mar£5400 May £4830 June £4660 July £4460 Aug £3200, S £900, £0 18/9/07 DFW Nerd 0420 -
No not rude at all I can see it too at times. He isnt perfect like many OH's on here but he has stopped overspending and is in control of his debts, stopped drinking which was 1 expensive and 2 made him agressive. now gives me money and pays for top up groceries, petrol kids things. Alot of his money goes of cigarettes which I would dearly love him to quit but I cant force him.
I do get things for myself and get to got out and socialise more through work so all in all it breaks even. We both have areas we can improve on.
Thanks for taking time to read and noticing we are making progress. This time last year I still had my head in the sand thinking I was ok.:j0 -
Well still no Amazon sales need to forget about it for a while. I was spoilt with the early sales. Work ok took it fairly easy today because I know Im not 100%. Still much better than last month.
Got some orders in for BS not enough to get free stuff yet. Waiting on a friend to call then may see a couple of neighbours.:j0 -
Dont know if you saw jacks suggestion about a special PMT fund? May be worth a think to boost you?Nerd no 109 Long haulers supporters DFW #1! Even in the darkest moments, love and hope are always possible.0

Shopping done and spent £47 on loads. Im surprised it was so low when I saw how much went on the belt. Been a busy bee and have baked (well stuck stuff in breadmaker) a chocolate loaf, peeled chopped and blanched parships and carrots for freezer and have hot cross bun dough in the BM now.
Just off to get puncture on trye fixed hope we dont need a new tyre. Then to Aldi for cheap apples and friut biscuits. Back to tesco because I forgot I had run out of tomoto puree and now bread flour (making HM pizza tonight).:j0 -
£17.50 for tyre repair and £10 for entertaining OH and Kids in Morrisons including cigs for OH. Could have been worse.
Got to repair shop who then said 45 min wait so we wandered the 3 mins down the road to Mr M. Got all the bits I wanted except the fruit biscuits and spent £8.04. Part of that is kid money but cant be bothered to separate.
Hot cross buns are yummy the first six a bit too brown. Kids mostly happy with HM pizza that they were allowed to top themselves. Just waiting for mine and OH's to finish. Will do that again so thanks for the suggestions guys.:j0 -
Good for you much more fun & tastier arent they!! Enjoy!Nerd no 109 Long haulers supporters DFW #1! Even in the darkest moments, love and hope are always possible.0
