Look at all those happy smilies in your post, you must be feeling very positive. You're doing really well, it spurs you on doesn't it and really makes you believe that you can do it...and you can Wendy.
    Well done. :T

  • Yes feeling much better thanks.

Might slightly go over grocery budget by about £10 this month but have brought extra stuff from Tesco so not unhappy. Could have stuck to budget but wanted to fill freezer a bit more and use a £10 voucher. Will know for sure when delivered tomorrow.

Listed 3 playstation 2 games but not likely to get more than £3 each. If the weather improves I will do a car boot on Sundy or Monday.

Got a half flat front tyre though and tyre pump didnt work. Borrowed one from next door but OH wants one from Argos for about £10. I hope we dont need a new tyre I only brought new ones last year.

See if the tyre can be patched - I've had one tyre done twice - grand total of £10...wish people would stop leaving nails in the road!

Hi guys, hope you games sell on Amazon, I've been really lucky with mine.

Well done on your budget you see to have got it sorted for April, as for the grocery shop, don't worry about that too much a £10 overspend is not too bad at all.
  • Thanks ISOM will look into that. Weve only had a car for 3 years now so it all still seems so new and expensive.

Thanks GR, Sold a game for a pricely profit ,after fees and postage, of £2.30 not record breaking but still extra cash. OH noted how it was his stuff up for sale. I did honestly say I would be glad to sell my stuff just dont have anything worth selling. A few bits for car boot and thats it.

(Didint say what I was thinking that it was me using my money for the family and not buying useless stuff lol! Although to be fair I probably spent money on going out occasionally and work lunches over the years)

Every little bit helps doesn't it Wendy. There's that wise saying about 'look after the pennies and the pounds will look after themselves' That is so apt for us on mse.
Keep up the good work, you're on a roll Wendy.

Hi Wendy I was supposed to be clesaning today as well but I'm not doing so well. Have done some dishes and some washing but thats about it. Have promised DD KFC for lunch so I'd better get dressed and out in the cold.

Will try to do a bit more tidying when I get back.

As for your March totals OK so you may not be 100% successful but I bet its loads less than you used to spend. Don't be so hard on yourself, it'll all fall into place.

You should be able to get tyre fixed for around £15 if it's a puncture.
