Well still got loads of tidying and sorting to do. We packed the car last night ready for this morning but its snowed. What a pain I really wanted to get going was hoping to make a fair amount well compared to my £15 last time.

I cant believe how many star trek videos my OH had. On top of about 30 football shirts most barely worn. To make up for it being all his stuff I have reluctantly agreed to sell my Guns N Roses videos, a couple are on Amazon but the others for car boot. I havent watched them for years but its sad to see them go.

Todays target is still to tidy the kids bedrooms and give DD1 her own room before DS will need it.

Grocery challengs for March about to increase by a few quid need squash and now OJ plus oven chips although the latter can wait.

Kids rooms look great and got an unexpected dinner at my sisters which was great.

Car boot did go ahead but snowed almost constantly and finished after two hours. Everythng is muddy and damp. Stiil in the back of my new muddy hire car. Not too back for a couple of hours work after fees and taking float out I made £34.50. Will try again in better weather.

Where we are going to store this stuff in the meantime is another matter.

Good morning Wendy glad you managed to make a few quid. I did a car boot last October and the stuff is still in a box in the front room, hence me signing up with Amazon Marketplace. I am determined to get shot of this stuff.

Amazon is good but most of my stuff is videos. Noone wants them anymore and now they are waterdamaged from the smow. OH not happy. Front room is full of stuff. Will have another look on Amazon to see if its worthwhile for the single videos.

well done on trimming your budget. I was just wondering if OH was likely to come off benefits any time soon? And if not is he getting all he should do, and you ie working tax credits, child tax credits, DLA etc?

If he can't work then can he do online surveys? enter competitions? do daily clicks to build up points, research the cheapest providers of utilities/insurances etc

I am fairly sure we are claiming all we can. I used entitled to not long ago. He gets long term incapacity and low level DLA. Daft thing is we will probably be worse off if he goes back to work. Hoping that he can find a part time job as part of "permitted" work. He is still "ill" but now kids at school he may be able to find something just age, disability and poor work record counting against him.

Thing is hes qute picky with jobs and not online very often I dont think he will be willing to do clicks etc. I generally see it as my task to get everything the cheapest and save money. I really glad he is willing to let go off most of his stuff. Small steps with him!!

Also if I moan too much about money he complains about the holidays I have booked and want.

Good news found a load of bubble wrap in the loft so have dryed out the stuff and repacked for next time.

Right, productive day today rarely two in a row in this house! Offered books and clothes on freecycle and getting two unworn brownie skirts in return. Cleared out under the stairs and it looks much better.

Just thought not spent anything except 10p to DD1 (got her down from 50p for getting my car muddy lol!) and 5.50 car boot fee all out of takings.

Kids hyper on chocolate and I need to start dinner.

I'm glad somebody has had a productive day. I've done very very little. Have been on the phone all day. Ex phoned me 3 times, my cousin twice and then my friend came to visit. In between all this chatting I've been reading my book and catching up with all the gossip on here!

I wouldnt worry too much. Im sure there will be a fair old break before we get anything more done lol!
