Correct, to use Ryanair's on-line check-in, you MUST have a passport for ID when you arrive at the airport. Not only that, but it MUST be an EU/EEA passport only.
What happens if you have a U.S. passport? Can you still buy the discounted ticket, with the requirement that you check in at the airport? How much does it cost to check in at the airport?0 -

I can't see any flights for 1p including taxes (as mentioned previously). At the mo the cheapest fares are 10.00 including taxes. I think the 1p sale starts tomorrow though, is that correct...anyone?
EDIT: you have to pay extra for checked bags + CC charges0
