See last para...
yup as i said, you're entitled to refund but when i read the T&C, i need to make a written application... kinda annoying dealing with companies such as Ryanair for refund for a few quid - but then i dont like paying it either! This isnt a rant against ryanair tho - otherwise i am very pleased with their service

I can't see any flights for 1p including taxes (as mentioned previously). At the mo the cheapest fares are 10.00 including taxes. I think the 1p sale starts tomorrow though, is that correct...anyone?
EDIT: you have to pay extra for checked bags + CC charges
Yes, the 1p sale starts tomorrow, hence why you can't find them now.Gone ... or have I?0 -
This would be great as my son is always going on about going on a plane. I've had a look at the website for an idea of times and can do a day trip to Dublin but the question I would like answering is the airport i the middle of no where or is it easy to get to town/shops etc with in a time if we got there at 9am and flight home was 8.25pm.
Hopefully someone on here has done this and can help.0 -
Hey ... there are frequent trips into the centre of Dublin from the airport ... look at aircoach http://www.aircoach.ie/ andThis would be great as my son is always going on about going on a plane. You should have a good few hours to wander around Dublin ... might be better getting an earlier flight over, as the traffic gets really busy into Dublin ... there're stacks of wee cafes you could head to in Dublin for breakfast so might be an option.
Train may actually work too ... http://www.irishrail.ie/home/?£10 a day in November = £593.31 / £3000 -
Thanks for that will take a look.0

Dublin Airport is about 7 miles north of Dublin city centre.

I know the Ryanair 1p flights go on sale 'tomorrow' - does this mean just after midnight? Sorry if someone has asked this already.:hello:0

you are, however, entitled to a refund of airport checkin fees if you make a written application...!
honestly, i dont hold UK/EEA passport and annoys me to hell i have to pay, penalised for who i am!!
But if I understand correctly, you can still get the sale fares without an EU passport? Sorry if I'm being dense, but I would hate to end up at the airport and find there were hidden fees or problems due to not having an EU passport.0 -

oh yeah dont worry about that - its just for checking in that gets a slightly different treatment!
and to clarify on your edit - the only "hidden" charge is the airport checkin fee of £3 as opposed to free online checkin!0 -
£3 each way. My 2 sons are on my passport and I could not avail of the free web check in0
