obviously you have to factor in taxes too
No - this offer includes taxes.
Going by past similar offers, you will only be paying 2p to get to your destination and back. No cc charges either.
However, you are likely to be restricted on dates, days and destinations.
Still a very good deal.0 -
 The ryanair.com website booking system is offline until 26th Feb...0

It does say "book from Tuesday". Doesn't matter if it's not working till then, surely?::Quidco.com - £1100 in 11 months. Kerr-ching! ::0

I heard Simon Calder the travel writer talking about this offer this morning.
It is a genuine 1p each way offer with no taxes but don`t forget the "extras" such as check-in fee, luggage fee etc.
Also as pointed out it`ll be limited dates and destinations.
If you can check-in online and only take hand luggage and find somewhere decent to go then you will grab a bargain 2p return total fare.0 -
I have done this offer 2 times, once to venice and once to dublin, cost 4p for 2 adults - plus a couple of pounds for a credit/debit card charge, as long as you take off all the "extras" , priority boarding and insurance etc it will cost 1p each way!0

What are the chances of me getting a flight from Manchester to London?
The reason i ask is because right now i have a flight booked from Manchester to Italy for £203.00 with Opodo.
My problem is the stops im taking:
1. Manchester to Paris
2. Paris to Rome
3. Rome to Catania
Now i can get a direct flight to my destination for £175.00 - Gatwick to Catania
^ providing i can get to Gatwick from Manchester on the cheap.
I know Opodo will charge a £25.00 cancellation fee (i think) so if i do the math:
£175.00 (return gatwick to italy) + £25.00 (cancellation fee) + £0.02 (possible Manchester to Gatwick return) = £200.02
Which is cheaper, but more importantly less hassle, less stops and better flying out/in times.
So do you guys think i should cancel my Opodo booking right now and hope that i get a Manchester to Gatwick come Tuesday?
Or
Should i hold out and cancel the Opodo booking only when im sure i got the Manchester to Gatwick booking?
Im thinking i should cancel first because i may miss out on the £175.00 fare come Tuesday?
Any advice would be appreciated.0 -

Non existant with Ryanair because they don`t fly Man to Gat.

Sorry i may have confused you with my last comment
1. Im going to Manchester to Catania at the moment for £203.00 with 2 stops.
But there is another less stressful ticket available -
2. Direct flight from London (Gatwick) to Catania for £175.00
The initial problem was that i couldnt get from Manchester to Gatwick on the cheap hence i took option 1.
NOW that this 1p RyanAir offer has come about, it opens up option 2 as i can fly from Manchester to Gatwick on the cheap with RyanAir.
So my question is:
Should i cancel the flight i currently have with Opodo and hope that i can get a return flight on Tuesday with RyanAir (Manchester to Gatwick)
or
Should i just keep the original booking with Opodo and wait until Tuesday? - The problem with this is that there is no guarantee that the direct flight from Gatwick to Catania will be available on Tuesday, which is currently available for £175.00
I hope that makes sense.0 -
Ryanair DO NOT fly Man to Gat0

again, Manchester to gatwick on ryanair does Not exist. they dont fly that route.
but on the similar note, if the times and dates match, you can fly Manchester - Dublin and then Dublin - London. I did this last year when i was really tight for money, but was worth it. 2p single in total - even if it took absolutely ageeees including connections and check-ins!!0
