Ryanair 1p Flights! From Tues 26/02

The 1p flights are fantastic amd I don't think anyone has any cause for complaint regarding that.... who else can you fly with to various locations for 1 p? It costs me more than that to look online and check flight prices lol!
On another note, the only downside of Ryanair is there lack of customer service I've experienced.
I'm not sure if they've changed their T&C's now but I travelled to glasgow about 3 months ago, and on there terms it said Valid Identification is required on domestic flights, it then listed Driving Licenses as one of these.
I got to Stansted 3 hours pre flight, queued like everyone else, got to the front of queue to be told they don't accept driving licences and was refused entry to plane.
I had my passport on me also but they said it doesn't matter now.
I had to pay out £140 for the next flight and was FUMING as you can imagine, especially when I was told by one of the ryanair staff surrounded by about 8 other members of staff that I should have "paid more attention to the rules"...
Anyway just felt like I should pre warn people on that side of things
And I'm still looking forward to the 1p flights hey maybe if I book 1400 flights I can make my money back somehow ha ha

The advertisment for the 1p flights has been replaced with an ad for £10 flights for some reason.

Cant help feeling there was more to it than this.0 -
You shown them your passport and they refused you entry onto the aircraft?
Yes because when checking in online you have to enter the identification number which in this case was my driving license. Even though it said they accepted it.Cant help feeling there was more to it than this.
Think away there really wasn't, simple fact was the T&C's said driving license can be used and the people taking tickets said they didn't accept them for web checkins (which was not mentioned in T&C's) I even had my mum print them off to make sure.I'm afraid you'll have to work harder than that - £140 is the equivelant of 14000 flights!:D
ha ha oops... :S not sure I'd want to do that many flightsNo person is your friend who demands your silence, or denies your right to grow. :kisses2:0 -
