Can we please now uncross everythingYou're only young once, but you can be immature forever0 -
Hello!
Hurray it's FRIDAY!!!! :j :j :j
Happy Birthday to Shez and Master PP Hope you've both had a great day!
Feeling tired today after a busy day at work with my LOs, 26 in the morning (2 autistic and lots of boys) and 21 in the afternoon (mostly 3 yr olds). Once again I spent a huge chunk of the morning session dealing with outside SEN support staff, instead of teaching my class.
I did manage to take some great photos of the children though, as I have to spend a huge part of my time assessing and observing them (more paperwork   ) so I often use the camera to record their progress and achievements and they have really come on over the year and continuously surprise me each day.
So no more work for me until next Wednedsay, so I can put my 'mum/wife' hat back on for a few days
Tonight's tea is a Lazy Tea of vege hotdogs and oven chips, no doubt followed by some chocolate!:D
Have a great evening!0 -
Hi everyone
Fantastic news Donny-gal you must be so relieved.
I've had a funny day today, dd has been thrown several spectacular tantrums which is nothing new but in between she has been clingy and want me to read to her. I've managed to get the basics done and sorted out some washing to air apart from that we have only managed to go to Aldi where DD sat in the trolley as good as gold. I'm thinking shes proberbly coming down with something which is not good timing at all.
On top of that I've had a feeling like I've been sucking on an iron bar and a faint feeling of nausea all day so maybe were getting the same thing and shes abit further along. Having said that shes happily eating pizza for her tea.
No plans for tonight apart from maybe a glass of wine while I iron. Its pizza for our tea as well so thats nice and simple.
Have a good evening everyoneSorting my life out one day at a time0 -
I'm doing 'stovies' for dinner; I found a Scottish recipe site that has some lovely meals on it so I've decided one day a week will be Scottish day.
Anyway, I can hear the kettle begging me to put it on so will love you and leave you. See you all later.

OOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!! Mioliere stovies, we love them, but only have them once a month, they are very fattening!!! especially if you make them with dripping............
Donny, so pleased to hear the news re your OH, you must both be very relieved............
We went up to the shopping centre to get my medication, a set of DVD-r disc a TV times and a new battery for our clock, I saw an electric relaxer chair in pale green on one of the stalls £185......we had a demo, haggled and bought it, now I have an easy chair to get rid of...........the chaps delivered the chair an hour or so ago, have not fitted it up yet will be doing that once I have got rid of the large easy chair out of our sitting room.
The dollies and their chair has been relegated to the hall until we can re-arrange the room. Was 13st 8 lbs,Now 12st 11 Lost 10 1/4lbs since I started on my diet.0 -

Hi- just popping in for a minute to thank TWINK for the link to the Scottish recipes - they look lovely. I've bookmarked the site and will study it tomorrow. The stovies were great - DH loved them and such an easy and cheap meal. Will definitely do them again. I used olive oil though but dripping would have been great.
TATTYCATH - I hope you're feeling a bit better now.
Well, off for a bath and a glass of wine - yes, both at the same time!
See you all tomorrow. Have a great evening.

Evening All
Glad to hear your news Donnygal.
Had lovely lunch out today, had Calamari starter which was lovely, Tuna Pizza which was ok followed by crunchie cheesecake which was absolutely delish - not usually bothered by desserts but very glad I had it.
Have made OH & DS egg and chips as still full up - helped by the creme egg that I had a little while ago. Healthy eating definately went out the window today.
Havnt done too much today but have made £90 on the Bingo that is on the gambling board - not bad for a couple of hours - it is tedious though.
Off now for my surfing and more bingo.
Have a lovely evening.
