All the best people are born in February:whistle:  :D

(((((hugs)))) for all the worried or poorly, especially smokeybabe and family, and donny-gal and dh. Sounds like DH is making good progress donny. Everything crossed;)

Haribo, I thought that's how you always dressed, at least that's what your neighbours say:p :p Don't worry, people just think you're practising for being a batty old lady:rotfl:

Hope you get a restful weekend so you can enjoy your week off Pink:D

Well I too did something stupid yesterday. Shock, horror, amazement:rotfl: :o
I went to make bread, loaded all the dry ingredients into the pan, then I usually set that into the BM before adding the water. I then poured the water into the BM without noticing the pan wasn't there:eek: The water seemed to just run through, but I didn't dare switch it on in case it went bang. So it's been drying out all night, and I've tried it this morning and it's fine :D What was good was I used the ingredients I'd measured and made bread entirely by hand. Because I've used the BM on dough setting I actually kneaded it to the right point and made some really lovely rolls. So I know I can do it ;)

Well I've drivelled on long enough. Having fish pie tonight, but I'm missing the fish, so I'd best go buy some.:D After another coffee:rolleyes:

    Enjoy your days, CM

Quiet day for me today, no LOs so im eating chocolate and watching DVDs!!!

Will be making Hm pizza for dinner tonight, and im sure i have plenty to do, but have no energy/inclination to do anything, hopefully my get up and go will come back soon.

Found DS had nits last night, so have bought some nit stuff and tonight we will all be denitted, not taking any chances with the little b****rs. Have also taken DDs old computer (not working, was going to freecycle it, but nothing happens when you turned it on, and we then broke the disk drives trying to get the disks DD had left in there out!!) to the dump, so at least thats a job out of the way.

Ok, im now waffling, so off to carry on doing nothing!!!
    Have a lovely day everyone,
    Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

    Morning all,

Have not been able to keep up with daily at all so sorry if I am ignoring something I shouldn't

Happy birthday yesterday Donna and to-day Shez :bdaycake::bdaycake:

Aoife, new grand-daughter has had her PKU heel test done this morning and was not impressed in the least by the whole procedure, otherwise she is doing fine.

Hope to get back at some time later in the day

  • Thanks for all your good wishes for DS! He'll be full of cake by the time he's finished them all :T :A He and DD told me that Chris Moyles celebrates his birthday today, too.

Aussie - I had no grey hairs until I hit 30 :D This was 6 months after I had DD, who's already a teenager, so I know what they're like

Churchie - DS's grandparents bought him a game for his PSP (one that he'd suggested ;) they're not that hip :D )

Father Ted - I see you're still around. Would you like to share your favourite recipe or cleaning tip :D

I listened to that this morning, they did a tribute to him at the end of the show - made me cry ( i do cry at lots of things that i prob shouldnt!!) You also share your birthdays with Drew Barrymore, Julie Walters, Nigel Planer and the Dutchess of Kent - they also said John Travolta and James Blunt on the radio, but not sure if they are right!!!

Just checked - John Travolta was the 18th, but James Blunt is right!!!

    Hi all !

Grey skies but thankfully not so cold.
Well, after yesterdays hanging about for delivery of our pine dresser its now all arranged with bits and bobs...........expect it'll be re-arranged several times till I feel totally right about it.
Sorted out loads more stuff for collection tomorrow so still can't see my floor for boxes and carrier bags ..................and think I've lost the plot - well a bit anyway.
Cleared the old dresser of all the stuff on it.............thinned out the 'rubbishy' stuff and now I can't find any glasses !! I put them in a box I know I did but can I find wretched box ?? I cannot ! Least OH has one for his glass of evening plonk but as for the rest................well who knows ?
More I look the more I get muddled so giving it a rest for now till my brain clears a bit:confused:

Happy birthday to Penguin and Shez......................
Have a good day all and hugs (((((((((((((:o )))))))))))) to all those who need them
    Mary

I'm creative -you can't expect me to be neat too !

    Afternoon All

Happy birthday to Shez, Master Penguin, and anyone else who wants a bit of cake.:bdaycake:

Donny Gal - Glad your DH is doing ok. Keep us posted, won't you?

Well, had my job interview yesterday. I think it went ok, though I was very nervous. Hope I didn't waffle on too much. The advantage is that it was done by two people I have worked alongside for a while so they know me and what I am capable of.

DH is at the hospital today - ulcer clinic- so I'm making the most of the peace and quiet. Its a shame the weather isn't better, or I might have taken a bus over to Harrogate and had a wander.
Not heavily in debt, but still trying to sort things out.
    Baby due July 2018.
