Happy B'day to Shez & Master PP.
Katy's phoned to say she'll be back today & can she have a friend over to stay, I told her 1 friend for 1 night, so we'll see what happens.
Plans for today, clear the kitchen & extend the table so I can do some sewing, take some pics for my blog, go to the butcher to buy 2 large packs of bacon for the freezer, check out the charity shop for something for hubby to read, go to the wool shop for 1 ball of dusty pink wool so I can finish one of my three my crochet throws, I have enough wool for the other 2. I have a day to myself I think as hubby has a days work.
Hugs to choc orange, DG, Smokey & Triage, it sounds a bit like a panic attack, I get them but not as regularly as I used to, I once got one driving on the M4, I just had to keep going at 90mph (50 really, but it seemed faster cos I was panicking) repeating to myself 'it's only a panic attack I'm not really ill' over & over till it subsided.

Mioliere, I know what you mean about wool, I can't resist it either I was sorting though some yesterday and found a jumper that I have finished but not sewn up, so that is a job for today.

Getting some steak for dinner for DH as I am having meat-free chilli, oh the joys of being on a diet

This is the earliest I have been up all week, OH has been snoring all night and it has driven me mad :mad: , I usually go to bed before him and am asleep before he gets up, bit he was tired last night and went up first, will have to have an early night tonight.

I will do a big clean through this morning I have three estate agents coming this afternoon to value my house, I am hoping to be able to move nearer DD's school which would save me so much time and petrol, I bought this house in 1994, so the value should have gone up a bit .

Got a call to say that my glasses are ready for collection, I think I first went in seven weeks ago to choose them, the whole thing has been a total c**K up from start to finish, I will not be using them again, shouls have gone somewhere else

We will have a spagetti and pancetta dish for tea tonight. All up to date with the washing.

Good Morning All

Glad things are going well DonnyGal & hoping the same is true for Mr Smokey.

Its Friday thankfully. 1st week back at school always makes me so tired.

Have nice day today, OH isnt working so will be doing the school run. He has loads of jobs planned for himself including cutting the grass.

I will be in the office first thing this morning, have a couple of urgent jobs then am out for lunch at a local posh pizza place with my sister as its her birthday tomorrow.

Having egg and chips for tea tonight, also must remember to do next weeks menu plan some time today.

I'm shattered atm. Had a lovely but tiring day with DGS. The heat has been awful. Shez tell your Mum all her prayers have been answered. She will be warm.
DH wants to go to the club for tea so we'll trudge down there shortly and be a little sweat pool by the time we get there. :rolleyes:

Paid the deposit on the flat yesterday, so been lurking in the mortgage free wannabe section all morning.

Job interview later, so 6 hours and counting.

Staying at my sister's tonight, I'm cooking for her and BIL carbonara a la me!

Working all weekend. But I think I'll start reclaiming some time back in the next week or so.

Well, DH finally left for work; I'm sure he'd forget his own name if I wasn't here to remind him. He is SO forgetful these days and never actually 'goes' in one 'go' IYSWIM. He couldn't find his 'hi-viz' vest so, if one of the sub-contractors doesn't have a spare, he'll have to come back and look for it.

REDRUBY - hope you get a good valuation; property has definitely gone up since 1994 so you will have made something! The house we bought in 1991 had doubled in price by the time we sold it 11 years later. Mind you, the price of the next house soon ate up any profit!

Well, I did tell myself I wouldn't come back on here until all my chores were done, yet here I am. I have cleaned the bathroom and tidied up upstairs, put some washing on, cleared up the breakfast dishes, typed up some payslips, made DH's packed lunch and had a shower, so that's not too bad. The rest is minimal because I want to try and get to the bank by 9.30. Once I've been shopping I want to sort out the wool stash in my spare room - I sorted it out a week or so ago but I've been rummaging about and now it's all messed up again!

Anyway, must get a move on. I wonder how SMOKY'S DH is?

Got caught up with the tidying and washing yesterday, unfortunately the ironing has to follow. So today I will be mostly ironing plus of course the dusting and mopping for the weekend.

I'm hoping that dd will be in a better mood today she was vile for most of yesterday i think shes over tired but getting her to sleep any longer is proving impossible.
