Washing is blowing on the line and machine is back on with more stuff.

Had gritty eyes earlier so put eye ointment on and now can hardly see a thing.

DD(nearly 19) comes home to celebrate her birthday today (birthday is 27 th but she can't get home then.)

DD(22) is coming back from Oxford to see her sister and we want to visit her great uncle in hospital tomorrow.

Was going to make lasagne but think DD might be fed up wth pasta so might make chicken pancakes instead.

Will go out later (once I can see) and get birthday cake and get well cards.

    See you later.

I watched Emmerdale yesterday and cried buckets - DH kept saying "Its only a tv programme why are you crying?"

    I've been Money Tipped!
    :hello: Hello!

Just had to pop in to wish Shez a Happy Birthday! :bdaycake: Have a lovely day today Shez!

(((hugs))) to PP, DG, Hilstep, bemuzed, JackieO and Smokey and anyone else who needs one.

OH has walked the puppy today as my cfs is bad at the moment:( and I am just about managing to get in to my part time job which is only 2 small shifts and I can sit down and do coloring in with the kids, and then I am shattered and achey so I am resting up and trying to get back to pacing by having lots of sit downs and knitting, I have started a dishcloth in a lovely aqua colour cotton I got from ebay, also planning an easy to keep up with garden for the spring with some raised beds going in soon, I am enjoying the seed catalogues to look at but have only bought some seeds from aldi (29p) so far.

DD has her MRI n 2 weeks time, think I will take my knitting with me!

    Have a lovely day!

Off to heat up some soup and cut some of the wm bread

    Catz x

    Afternoon..............(((((((((((HUGS)))))))))))) if you need one.........

We were shaken out of bed by the door buzzer going, it was my new printer, so have spnet most of the morning sorting out the connection etc, it is more advanced that the one we had. A freecycler collected the old one this morning, he is hoping to unblock the black ink jet. I now have about 10 replacement cartridges for it, think I might put them on Ebay.

Going to have a quick trip to Mr T,s I need some DVD-r discs to copy my back up to.

A dull morning, the water board were pumping water? through the system last night, our water was off for 8 hours during the night, I watched gallons of water flooding down the road.

HM fish and chips tonight for supper, not sure whats for afters yet.......will have to put my thinking cap on, maybe peach melba, I have some tinned peach halves in the cupboard.

Friend Em has had a stiff neck for a few days, I lent her my wheat bag which seems to be doing the job, I have told her to keep it, I have another one in the cupboard.

Have not read the thread yet, off to do so now.
    Was 13st 8 lbs,Now 12st 11 Lost 10 1/4lbs since I started on my diet.

Just had to let you know. The RMN this morning was a MRI scan, and they found no clot/stroke. Looking into dizziness/labrinthitis (sp) now will be in until Monday, but we are both walking on air.

I'm so pleased DONNY - you must both be relieved.

    SMOKY - thinking of you.

FATHER TED - nice to meet you. I shall pass your tip on to my DH, who, as all good husbands should, cleans and maintains my car for me and has been known to fill the tank if I flutter my eyelashes at him (and promise him HM rice pud!). I hate cleaning cars and my DH can't stand watching me do it - he says I make it look a lot harder than it is, so I just leave it to him. Secretly, I know he enjoys it.

Well, I've had a right day of it today. I had every intention of doing the banking and food shopping and being back home by lunch but the bank's computers were up the shoot and, after half an hour of trying, they couldn't get a transfer through to another account for me. The wait was helped by the arrival of a cute little cat who thinks he works in the bank. They've taken him back home several times (he's well cared for), but he has latched on to one of the staff members and follows her in every morning. Anyway, I ended up coming home for lunch and having to go back out this afternoon to get the food. I have just sat down - my feet are killing me. Methinks a glass (or 2) of the falling-down stuff will help later.

I'm doing 'stovies' for dinner; I found a Scottish recipe site that has some lovely meals on it so I've decided one day a week will be Scottish day.

Anyway, I can hear the kettle begging me to put it on so will love you and leave you. See you all later.
