loopylou, dont listen to snidey people they are probally only jealous, if you are happy doing what you do then that is YOUR business and no one elses.
Living the way of an OS money saver is a far better less stressful life than constantly juggling time and money and chasing 'the next payment'
Hugs for everyone who needs one
so far its a nice morning here, wondering if to take a gamble and leave some washing out (gave rain for later i think)
I'm out this morning DD has a college appt shes trying to get into one in the city for her 6th form, means more travel but i think she'll be happier there so fingers crossed for her please.
got enough of last night veggie sausage casserole left to throw a crust on top and call it a pie tonight:T . might even make a crumble for afters (i brought some plums last week and they are a bit 'tart' so i think cooking with some sugar will make them more likely to get eaten.

Good morning everyone,
Donny-gal, hope your dh recovers soon. Thank goodness your ds is there already. Take care of yourself too.
I switched from British Gas ages ago - their customer service is non-existent!
I have lots to do today. I have a basket of ironing, I have to pick up a parcel from the post office, and I have taken some fruit out of the freezer to make puddings with as cold weather always makes me want hot puddings and custard.
The bathroom needs cleaning too. Not one of my favourite jobs, but I should keep warm today with all these things to do.
Scuzz good luck with your interview, and if your friend doesn't like her present then she's not a friend IYKWIM.
Take care all of you0 -

Morning folks,
Quiet on here this morning.
Smokey Hugs to you. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
Loopy-Lou Pay no attention to people making snide comments - I know it's not much of a consolation but they are probably in debt up to their eyeballs. I am only 20 and am of the opinion that life is short and I would much rather spend my time doing things that I enjoy - cooking, knitting, gardening etc - than wasting my life away working at a rubbish job to pay for things that don't matter in the grand scheme of things - new car etc. If it makes you happy, you keep on with it!
I am working today at 12. Found out yesterday that one of my friends is thinking of moving back to Lodnon, which I am quite upset about.
Plans for this morning are to have a shower, hang some washing out, make weetabix brownies and banana loaf.
Hope you all have a good day :beer:We must all suffer one of two things: the pain of discipline or the pain of regret and disappointment0 -
Morning Guys!
Smokey-Thinking of you all ATM....big hugs and kisses.
Donny-Gal; Hugs to your hubby and look after yourself.
The last few days have been quite rough here and dont have the energy to post much, but just wanted you all to know that I'm ok and still here.
I have had more problems with hospital giving me wrong drugs yesterday and dont know whether to take things further as this has happened before and their mistakes could have killed me.
I am on complete bedrest ATM. My blood count has now dropped to 9 in 2 weeks.
Cleaner is here today, so nothing to worry about.
Anyway, hope everyone is ok.
HUgs to all.

Morning all
I'm off to work soon, but only for a few hours, we looked after the grandchildren yesterday for a couple of hours while DD went for acupuncture. DGD who isn't a month old yet & breastfed decided she was hungry as soon as DD left. DD had left a bottle of milk for her, but was concerned that DGD had refused a bottle previously. Fortunately after a few splutters she took it like a dream, she then went back to sleep on hubbys chest & I played with DGS.
Belated Happy Bday to DLB.
Hugs to Smokey, Donny, GrannyBroon & Mrs Mix
It will be boring at work today, I'm covering reception, we get no more that 1 or 2 visitors/phonecalls so I'll be doing my mealplan for the month. After work hubby & I are going to B&Q to get a new tap fitting, what an exciting life we lead, lol.
Hugs Hester
