  • Welcome to SA Buffy!

I have given you a number, which you'll find on my first post. Sounds a bit perverse, but I'm glad there are so many of you out there like me!!!
I really hope we can help each other, even if it's in just a small way. (t.m.d. put that moisturiser down!)

You're right you know - internet spending doesn't count!!!! (Now there's a true spendaholic for you!!!)

Hopefully Buffy this is where it all ends!!!

Good Luck, and we'll do everything we can to help!

t.m.d., put the magazine out for recyc (preferably shredded into little bits!), that'll stop you from seeing the ad again for now.

    If bullying, threatening, cajoling, and reasoning don't work, there's only one thing left;

Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaase, don't buy it, I'm begging you!!!! Just imagine the disappointment in my little eyes if I found out that you bought it *cs does puppy dog eyes*.

  • Having spent a stupid amount of money on my animals I have now realised my shelves won't fit the new cages and I gave away the ones that do.

    new shelves = 22.40

    *cries*
    Nevertheless she persisted.
  • Ok ok ok. Well thing is the magazine has gone in the recycling. I tore the ad out of the magazine and is in my in tray at work!!!! LOL

Ok I won't buy it. I might look on ebay to see if its cheaper tho...........

NO NO NO I won't buy it. I don't need it - i want it. Which is kinda similar!
  • You see I did see a lovely suit on the magazine from Zara as well. Luckily I don't have a Zara round here and there doesn't appear to be a website!! But I was craving that last night something dreadful!! LOL

    I have a confession!!!

I have just impulse bought a video camcorder on ebay. I did ask myself the famous questions and I will get use out of it, starting in a few weeks in Dublin for my birthday, other birthdays, two weddings this year.

It wasn't too expensive at £52 and has really good spec.

I always feel so guilty when I spend money, I suppose that is a good thing.

  • Buffy, don't worry about it, I suppose it was a necessary!

t.m.d. I am soooo proud of you!!! Think checking ebay is a good idea definitely! :j

Gems, sometimes life throws up a bargain that is too good to miss! :p

I've been good today, no impulse buys, but only because I haven't been anywhere to be tempted!!! I can't internet shop at the moment because I've got no cash in my bank account :rotfl:. So, out of my hands really. Feb 29th will be the big test - PAYDAY!!!

Hope everyone had a good day,

  • I had two cats until Oct. last year - when one of them suddenly died. We think she had a heart attack, but not 100% sure. She was only 8 - so it's quite sad. she was a British Shorthair - so maybe that was a factor. Anyway, although my cats weren't brother/sister I think my remaining cat, who is 6 misses cat company. He is far more vocal than he used to be and follows me around crying quite a lot of the time.

Should I get him a new friend? And if I do any advice on vaccinations? My cats are house cats and never go to the cattery so I haven't kept jabs up. Should i get him re-vaccinated before introducing a new kitty?

I know this might lead to spending money - but surely this isn't spendaholic behaviour - is it? meooowwww!
    Save me from spending...

  • Yes get Cat vacinated, and get him a friend, - but then I always think "more animals" is betterits good to have another one of your our kind to talk to fight with etc!!

I made a big scary decision today.

I paid off my overdraft with my 0% card. I don't get paid for another 2 weeks I have about 50 quid to see me through.

I simply Cannot spend like i have been. I am not keeping check of anything.

so with this thread I will stop or at least cut down. the animals don'tneed anything and I am returning some of the clothes i bought and cashing some refund cheques.

right i am off to lookf or stuff to e bay!
    Nevertheless she persisted.
