I need to :( I'm still so hurt over everything and don't want to sit in on a Friday night :( xxx
  • My Mum is always telling me to freeze my cards in a bag of water in the freezer and then by the time I have defrosted them I will have changed my mind about the purchases.

The problem is where there is a will there is a way and I have microwave so I really don't think that would stop me!

I am really lazy so I have hidden the cards at the back of a cupboard and can't be bothered to move lots of stuff to get to them.

In all seriousness this is working for me I haven't used my credit cards since December and I love the fact that anything I have bought since then I have already paid for.

I can tell you now that there aint no ice a kettle of boiling water can't get through - I heard this freezing them thing about ten years ago (when my det was in single figure thousands), did it once, unfroze them the next day.
Mind you microwave could be dodgy with the metal of the chips in chip and pin  - err at least a microwave on fire would probably render the card useless :T

  • Your right about the microwave I hadn't thought of that :p

Best leave them in the cupboard then :D
