Just got back and the Pantene points voucher does not double up - must have been lucky with the £2 voucher. 200 pts off a £4 spend is not bad though.

I also got the No 7 buffer set with pink voucher. The SA told me which worked and which didn't.

But before that took a load of Ruby and Millie brushes to the till only to find that none of them worked. Couldn't have got the i-brush...

Loads of hat boxes and S&G sets in Camberley.

    Have a good weekend, all.
    Here come the girls....100% Gorgeous!!!

    Morning :)

Does anyone know how quickly you can start using the scar serum after an op?

Had my little girl (Isabelle Grace, not so little at 10lb 6oz!) by casearean 2 weeks ago and want to try out the serum on my scar. Suspect its possibly a bit soon though, would have to send DH out to get me some as i can't drive for the next 4 weeks anyway.......so stop posting all these bargains/glitches ;)

    TIA

Congratulations on the birth of your BIG baby. Well done.

Please ask your GP or health visitor about this. Earliest I would expect would be 3 months.

It's still a wound at the moment and not a scar, so needs to be kept free of anything that could possibly infect it. And any processed creams could do that.

Just stick to water until you are totally healed. Natures the best healer in the early months. Believe me you don't want an infection in a caesarian scar. Uggh:eek:

My local boots was so rubbish today. Cans of essentials own brand hairspray on clearance at £1.50 a can normal price £1.55 a can

Think someone needs to re-sticker that. I popped over to another one and they had the S&G sets half price and one hat box.

But came out spending nothing. And thing that bugs me is in the second store they have clearance shelves right next to the till which is right next to the alarms for the automatic door. And as that is the only till in use you can't get near it to look  But they can't work out why no is buying anything :rotfl:

Also all the best to everyone who has health problems. It is hard and I wish all the best with treatment and a long and happy life as well some very good boots hauls as well. Take care.

    Yours

    Calley

Haven't got time to go through the posts at the moment to see if anyone has answered you on this, but I have tried both Origins and Clinique, both are good, but I don't have problem skin. Of the two, personally I prefer Origins, they have some wonderful products which smell divine. Clinique are not perfumed ....... I like smelly things!!

I like nice smell products too rather than the chemical smelling ones. Its once a month my skin tends to break out and the cheaper brands dont seem to help much so thought I would treat myself to some decent ones. They have a good choice under the Origins section so will do an order whilst the extra points are on. Thanks

Hi I have problem skin and I use clarins which only uses natural products. I suggest you go to a Clarins counter and they will talk you through what you should use and if you ask for some samples to try over a couple of days before spending money they will most of the time give them out as it is clarins policy to let customers try before they buy.
On the clinique note I used to use this but it is very harsh and strip my skin away and didn't really help with spots etc. You can sometimes get samples of these too but not always. Hope this is of some help.

Many thanks, wont have chance to get to a store for a few weeks but if I get to go over Easter I'll pop and ask for some samples. It will be ace if they do that then I can see which suits me better - Clarins or Origins. Thanks for the tip re Clinique being drying - I found a few products aimed at oily skin to be drying and seem to make it worse. Its only a few days a month but it gets me down at times so going to give these two a try.

Has anybody tried the Protect and Perfect Eye Cream? I'm obsessed with eye creams at the moment and usually use the Loreal one but was thinking I might try the P&P one whilst I've got a £5.00 voucher. Does anybody use it already? Thanks.......

I'm using the P&P eye cream from the £20 set. It's a good sized tube (7ml, the full sized one is £15.50 for 15ml). I'm hopeless at using eye creams, never usually remember - all seems a bit of a palaver at the end of a busy day I'm afraid, but I've been using this since I got my £20 set a couple of weeks ago. It's very nice.

An observation that might put me off buying the full sized one is that I think it comes in a pot, not a tube. The 7ml tube is great but the 15ml pot looks the same as you get the samples of moisturiser in in the GWP that Boots do, and I find these quite fiddly to use and to get all the cream out of. so I'd prefer a tube myself.

Anyway, I'm a bit late catching up on posts so you might have had lots of other replies - perhaps someone who's got the cream in the pot has posted their thoughts? HTH.

    Hi Melon

Congrats on the birth of your baby girl , just to say i had a 11 lb 12 oz girl 9 years ago ( naturally as well  )!!:rotfl: Take it easy when lifting etc . I would ask your midwife if it is ok to use the scar cream.

Hatboxes are £9 in Crawley , got some S&G sets today and used some of my points .
