Hi everyone just back from a reasonable shop in Woking and wanted to say there are no P+P sets there - lots of shiny posters with them on behind the tills and stickers over them saying sold out! Ah well, I managed to get one and the GWP a couple of weeks ago so that will be my mummys day pressie!

Had trouble with the sanctuary stuff - wanted to get the microdermabrasion polish and hand lotion but the GWP wouldn't go through free. Guy on the till asked me to show him where the offer was so showed him the signs and he firstly told me the 200ml hand lotion was a mini and when I said no way he then tried the well it has to be £10 on one product only and neither of those 2 are £10 on their own! rubbish! so told him to forget it and found another SA nearby who tried it on a different till and went through no problem - wouldn't take the £3 voucher from another GWP but I had lost the will to argue by then!

A few suntan bits reduced and also on BOGOF so got 2 of the kids sachets for £1.49 - no idea how much they are usually though as I added them in to make it over a 10 spend to get another voucher!!

Redeemed 3 of the £5 no 7 vouchers and got the glossy locks hair spritz, lip and eye screen and make up remover.

They had 4 more boxes of scar serum after I got mine - SEL is £5.99 but scans at £3.99 and got the 100 points from the ACM.

Also got a highlighter at long last! They had 2 more left on the shelf and I noticed a couple on the till itself as well.

So am fairly pleased with my shop although hubby still thinks I'm a Bootsaholic and keeps saying well if you're sure you really need all this stuff....

trouble is I have 4 more no 7 vouchers to use up so I'll just have to go back again! Does anyone know of any shops round the Woking area that have got the P+P sets in??? I really want another one and a GWP now!!!!

Yes just stick to water for now i would wait untill you have your post-natal check up at least, before putting anything on it unless your midwife says you can. It take a long time for everything to settle down after all it is a major op you had. Don't get me started on infections on a section scar It's sooooo nasty. Mine was 3 years ago and i will never get rid of the boched job that is my scar but i will def try the expert cream if i can find it and see if that helps.

I agree, wait until your six week check at least first as you dont want to risk an infection. My CS wound was dressed in a huge plaster whilst I was still asleep from the anesthetic and I didnt discover this was the case until the next day (i'm allergic to any type of plaster)- by then I had a huge itchy rash that was more painful than the wound itself. Couldnt put any cream on it for 6 weeks but luckily it cleared and my scar was very neat. I do remember the no product rule for the first weeks after.

    Hi everyone!

This is a great thread. Just to let you know that the latest issue of Boots Health & Beauty magazine is out. In there you get two small samples of L'oreal Paris creams and some vouchers valid from the 27/2. The most interesting vouchers I thought was the buy any product from 17 Cosmetics and you get a free 17 lip glaze and also get 200 advantage points for buying any product in the "Soap & Glory Spa range". Has anyone used the "Soap & Glory Spa" range? Are they any good? I am particularly intersted in buying their body scrub.

Also, when I was there this morning Boots were giving away free 1 ml samples in sachets of Givenchy's Ange ou Demon. I took 2 this time.

    Have a nice weekend.

  • Just come back from visit to local Boots. No round P&P sets left, so glad I got mine for MIL and GWP for me a couple of weeks ago. Still plenty of S&G Steamy Shower sets and Accessorize hat boxes on Mothersday stand which miraculously appeared the day after it was a Valentines Day stand  . Labels indicate everything still Full Price. Asked SA to scan S&GSS set and hey presto, much to her amazement it was half price = £7.50. Thought about buying it with some other stuff I didn't really need to make it up to or over £10 to get another pink voucher, but that isn't really moneysaving, is it? So bought it with my points instead :D . Can't wait to try the body butter after you gals raving about it on here! Also picked up another tube of the No7 Mens Post Shave Moisturizer for OH as he quite liked the first tube (and this ensures he leaves my Clinique moisturizer alone when he gets dry skin :o ), combined with another Highlighter and this time remembered the 250pts from the GWP as well. So paid a £1 and got 250pts back, SA was impressed ;) .

    Poundsinbucks x :D
    🥳🥳 SW -6st 3.5lbs 🥳🥳
  • Hi, I wandered if anyone had a spare highlighter voucher? I promised lovabargin that i would go to my local and pick one up but my children are too poorly for me to escape the house today so won't be able to. Can any of you fellow bootsers help me out?
    TIA

well l went to woking a few weeks ago to try the pink voucher with the free highlighter and gwp. combined, however l have come to realise that the sa`s in woking are real dragons!!!!! (nicest way l can put it)
she was so arrogant and not willing to try the vouchers/coupons. it really annoyed me especially when she goes to me that "ur all ready getting a good bargain dont be greedy"
how dare sum1 call me greedy!!!!! l spent my hard earned cash in ur store im not nicking the goods for god sake women get a life!!!

well thats my moan over, but a little advise to kokey dont bother going to woking for glitches, im telling u the sa`s are to up themselves. l find staines much better and there`s one sa there she`s so nice and always smiling. she was on the till next to the one l was being served at, the Sa was not willing to put the pink voucher through for No7 mini brushes, but she told her collegue that they do go through and actually did herself for me. :T

    :T LLB HONS :T
    im well chuffed...........
