I call the Boots bargains my Boots-therapy. There's nothing like a bit of shopping therapy to take your mind off less pleasant things. I've just finished 5 months of chemo and I still managed, on my good days, to make a few Boots trips. And as all my treatment is at Christie hospital in M'cr, we sail right past the Trafford Centre on our way there - oh so tempting! I've got three weeks of daily radiotherapy coming up so instead of feeling miserable about that, I'm thinking yay lots of trips to the Trafford Centre and hopefully some more Boots bargains!!!!!!!!!! So you lovely ladies (and gents?) on this thread are helping me lots by giving me something fun to think about (and then go and spend!!!!!). Thank you!!!

Good luck with the rest of your treatment xxx
Inside me lives a skinny woman crying to get out - but I can usually shut her up with cake!
  • Good luck Kippygirl and all of you that are dealing with personal issues at this time x

Someone mentioned on an earlier thread that they never went into Boots because they found it too expensive, I was the same, I always ventured into *whispers* Superdrug instead. Now I can't go shopping without getting all excited about a Boots trip! Another thing I have noticed is I prefer the aisle layout in Superdrug, I still can't find my way around a Boots store I find myself going round and round in circles and having trouble locating the items I am looking for, is it just me or do others feel the same? I bet I just get used to all my stores and they will have a major refurb and I will be back to square one:rotfl:

It was me the other day using a £2 off PC voucher which then deducted it twice. I boughtPantene ice shampoo. I came home to look for some more vouchers but they were all 200 pts instead of £2 but I'm still going to try it today.

Will let you know as I'll be heading in shortly.

    Morning :)

Does anyone know how quickly you can start using the scar serum after an op?

Had my little girl (Isabelle Grace, not so little at 10lb 6oz!) by casearean 2 weeks ago and want to try out the serum on my scar. Suspect its possibly a bit soon though, would have to send DH out to get me some as i can't drive for the next 4 weeks anyway.......so stop posting all these bargains/glitches ;)

    TIA
