I call the Boots bargains my Boots-therapy. There's nothing like a bit of shopping therapy to take your mind off less pleasant things. I've just finished 5 months of chemo and I still managed, on my good days, to make a few Boots trips. And as all my treatment is at Christie hospital in M'cr, we sail right past the Trafford Centre on our way there - oh so tempting! I've got three weeks of daily radiotherapy coming up so instead of feeling miserable about that, I'm thinking yay lots of trips to the Trafford Centre and hopefully some more Boots bargains!!!!!!!!!! So you lovely ladies (and gents?) on this thread are helping me lots by giving me something fun to think about (and then go and spend!!!!!). Thank you!!!
Good luck and best wishes x

    Morning :)

Does anyone know how quickly you can start using the scar serum after an op?

    x

Congrats - I had a 10lb 2oz baby 7 months ago!! Take it easy - you;e going to need all those stomach muscles to pick her up soon.

I wouldn't use the scar serum just yet - I think I read you should wait three months...but not absolutely sure.

    Enjoy your new baby.:T
    Here come the girls....100% Gorgeous!!!

Time Delay £10 for 30ml on offer at £6.66
Scar serum £5.99 for 50ml going through at £3.99 + 100 ACM voucher
    P+P £16.75 for 30ml

I haven't inc the P+P as a giftset/GWP deal or use of £5 off voucher as I just want to compare & contrast the potions/lotions

Sorry to bump this up but another quickie question:
Are those buying the SCAR SERUM using it purely for scars OR using it in much the same way as the TD or P+P was intended, all over the area.
SA told me to ignore the 'night eye wrinkle' text on the TD as it's suitable for all over application though I do mainly only apply to the eye/brow area.

Anyone braved trying the pink voucher on a mirror just to see if it goes through?

    TIA

I check on this site all the time for glitches, bargains, peoples stories about Boots experiences and funny ways of describing No7 ladies that often have me in howls of laughter.

I don't think though that Ive ever before left this site on the one hand in tears at the thought of all the terrible pain some people have to go through and at the same time absolutely marvelling in wonder how even in their darkest moments human beings are capable of seeking out a point of light relief that can bring them some measure of delight when everything else seems so hard.

I believe you are all truely amazing. I believe that you all deserve any and all moments of delight that you can find and I believe that because you have this positive spirit you will get well, you will survive.

Whenever I posted a glitch before or found anything interesting I did it because I thought that it was great fun, an amusing diversion. Now I know it can be so much more than that. Whenever I find anything now I'll post it and think of you, you brave and stoic women. You carry on , enjoy your boots therapy to the maximum and immerse yourself in these amusing moments of delight and fun.:T

Sam thanks for this tip of, went today and bagged myself 6 packs, I bought some the other week in the clearance section and think they are really nice.

Also thanks for pointing out that they were on the normal shelf ~ do you know where the reduced section has been moved to in Cheshire Oaks ? it was being geared up for sunglasses today , didn't have time to have a good look as had my daughter with me who proceeded to scrape/gouge at all the No7 make up at testers at her reaching level ~ much to the No7 SA's disgust who proceeded to smooth them all over !! so only had a quick look due to DD's minxy mood.

I too bagged some of these . What time were you there? They started taking the stickers off them while I was there because they had realised they had been reduced by error probably our bulk buying did it.
Searched the store and found the clearance sction which has moved to by the sandwiches and baby stuff. King of shaves stuff. Fragrance free and cucumber stuff reduced to 30p some Charlie and Lolo dolls and some vitamin things.

I was there about 11.30 am, I managed to get my No7 GWP and free highlighter, dreamlash mascara and extra dreamlash points and used No7 £5 voucher with no problem although I am waiting for my new AC ( had to get point validated ), haven't got any PC vouchers though:( to bring my total down more. Also got another £5 voucher back as bought another few bits and bobs.

thanks for letting me know where the clearance section is, I'll venture out later and have a look.

    What time where you there?

This is a do-it-yourself test for paranoia: you know you've got it when you can't think of anything that's your fault.
