Nelski, Not Guilty plea all the way:D It's Haribo and Aussie that mess with posts...... I'm often the innocent victim:rotfl: See Saturday's thread for an example of the blatant lies HJ put in my name:rolleyes:

Stefejb hope you enjoyed O2. It must be hard to hold your tongue re DD18, but we none of us seem to learn from other's mistakes. You're doing all you can just by being there for her.

meanmarie hope all is well with DD and that baby makes a swift appearance.

taplady - Hope that you like your new nails
llamahead - seems like i am getting just as obsessed as you

Well i`m freezing to death here at work, i can`t wait until the end of my shift to get home and be warm again, i think i will take quite a bit of thawing out.I hope that the car isn`t too bad as i don`t want to sit in the car park for 15 mins.
I plan on making a bakewell tart tomorrow as reading about them on one of the other threads earlier has made me long for one - i can almost taste it.:D

Just back from the 02 - fantastic exhibition and not crowded at all as we were there so late.

Got back in and dd18, dgs3 and exoh are here - the same thing happened tonight with her bf and she still hasn't got her keys back. She ran out of the house without even shoes for the boy - oh dear. Exoh is drivng me crazy saying she's a muppet and he doesn't want to be involved while dd is sitting on ebay buying shoes - I give up - well I don't really but I think we ought ot call the police and the HA to change the locks but she does't want to do that so I'm keeping quiet and carrying on with stuff - ho hum
I'm going to feed our children non-organic food and with the money saved take them to the zoo - half man half biscuit 2008

    Hi again,

Hope that everyone has had a good day...I've not known where I was most of the time...DD2 was having contractions every 15 mins at 9.30, reckons she has walked hundreds of miles to-day, but was still dragging poor partner around Merrion Square at that stage...they will all three freeze to death if she doesn't go in soon, or they will shut her out of the hospital, hopefully something will happen during the night, DD4 went in with her suitcase and says that she doesn't seem to be in any distress when contractions arrive, hospital are monitoring baby when mother can be kept static for a few minutes and he/she is fine, could be a while yet as they tend not to intervene when there is no problem...

DGD1 has been informed that Mammy will be back when new baby arrives and that Daddy will come too, which has made her very happy, but she has a bad cold and was sick after she went to bed, went off to sleep almost immediately, hope she doesn't wake up before morning as she doesn't stay in bed for a second...I'm too old for this crack...why do some women want children in their 60's??

Night all, thanks for all the good wishes

OMG MeanMarie, a new baby!! Congratulations on the imminent arrival - I hope the baby and mummy are both v.happy and healthy after the birth.

Penelope, good luck with your interview. I hope they don't keep you waiting too long for the result.

I have managed to break yet another tooth - this is the fifth one!!! Must be a sign of old age. It happened about an hour ago, but it's not at all painful. I'll have to go to the dentist soon to get it sorted out - I hope the offending tooth doesn't get yanked out.

Tomorrow (Tuesday) is a big day in SnowyOwlVille - I'm getting broadband in at last!!! Woohoo!!! I might be off line for a while as I expect I'll have trouble understanding the instructions for setting it all up. I "helped" my friend when she got hers and it was a nightmare....mine is different as I have a laptop rather than a pc and I don't think they send instructions for laptop users. As far as I know the lappy has a modem in it - so what do I do with the modem they are sending to me? I'll probably end up in the library asking for advice on the techie board, but wish me luck.

Stefjb - your poor daughter! I hope she sees sense and leaves that pillock. Some men are an absolute disgrace and embarrassment to their gender.

Jinky/Tibbie's Mum - there is nothing wrong with the "lived in" look!!

OK, I'm off to bed now. Good night!

    Snowy
