Oh dear... is that fear or litigation or just sheer stupidity?I lost my job as a cricket commentator for saying “I don’t want to bore you with the details”.Milton Jones0 -
Probably both
It might be just an urban legend though (ironing clothes like that). I couldn't find reference to a story but the first urban legend I ever encountered was...

cleaning the car dashboard, seats & anything else that comes in contact with sticky fingers
wiping sticky marks off the leather sofa
cleaning my face, in fact used one for a v quick wash this morning as I was running v v late!
cleaning crayon off the kitchen cupboards
wiping computer keyboard & phone & tv remotes(apparently the most germ-laden items in the house!)
quick spot removal of stains when out & about
and most recently cleaning up potty training puddles from the carpet - no nasty smells yet & means I can put off cleaning the carpet properly until there's less chance of more accidents£2 savers club - £62

When I do my laundry I always remove it from the washing machine as soon as the cycle is finished - this avoids creases getting too stubborn. I put all garments (except u/wear & socks) onto hangars, and then hang the hangars on the line, fastened by clothes pegs if necessary. This also helps clothes become easier to iron and avoids peg marks...some items can even be left unironed and be put straight into the wardrobe. Putting things on hangars first also allows more washing to go onto the line so you can make the most of a sunny day. Urm, you did say obvious tips Calley, are these obvious enough?0

This means that if any water is trapped in upturned cups or bowls on the upper tray then it won't splash your clean dry dishes below when you put the tray out. OK I plagarized this from the dishwasher manual, but it works...and who reads manuals anyway (other than me)?
When all else fails - I read the manual!0 -

Rinse out milk bottles/containers with cold water and use the rinsings to water house plants. The milk acts as a mild fertiliser.0
