My OH suffers the same issue, except far worse (I'll explain). 36F, and where we live the cheapest you'll find a bra that size is about £60, and the vast majority are basically Grandma bras, nothing attractive, nothing fun.

We were visiting England last year, and went into Primark on oxford street, and regardless of your views on their labourers conditions, they give a very large variety of bras, and most of them go to the plus sizes. We walked out of the with 6 bras, for less than half the price we'd pay here for 1. And they're all still going strong 5 months later. Colours, patterns, etc etc. She was so excited when she first saw them.

So, long story short, +1 to primark.
  • If you are blessed with a wide back but small cup size as I am 40 A/B.

Bon Marche have some nice Bras ,Their colour range is not hugely varied Purples,Pinks, Red, Black,White and Nude but some are lacey and pretty.

They have fitting rooms but not Bra fitters.
    Hope this helps someone.x

i know alot of you like bravissimo but i can honestly say i wouldnt go back there if i had no other choice...i found there service shocking and theyre measuring left alot to be desired...the bras didnt last that long and were uncomfortable ...thye told me they could get a sports bra for me but it turned out they couldnt so recommended i wear two bra's (have you ever heard anything so ridiculous) ...however i do agree with the needing to get fitted ...i tend to go to a local shop called carino (in scotland) or for a high street i tend to go to frasers ...dont waste your time with m&s they dont have a clue ..size 37 hh here ...it is a nightmare getting something nice that fits and supports rigby and peller are about the best but thats london as far as i know..

as for money well i am usually around the £60 mark i accept it ...dont like it but accept it

The two bras thing is what my OH used to do when horse riding, and does when we occassionally go jogging, it's better than nothing (or one).

I also have a large bust and I find that Freya bras from Large Cup Lingerie work really well for not only fitting perfectly but also for making by breasts look great! Check them out online and what makes them even better is that they are great value for money as well! Good luck - I hope this helps you in the same way they did me...

Its reccomended in the "sporting world" for the large of boobage to wear 2 bras - stops the blighters going anywhere :)

Its also a good tip for anyone who hates the mono boob look that you get whilst wearing a sports bra -just wear a normal bra under your sports bra.
  • :oToo embarrassed to put my size on here, but I wear two bras for running, have done for years and it's good advice.

Another vote for Bravissimo here; makes that are nice to wear and supportive are Fantasie (good value, great for everyday) and, as others have said, Freya make lovely, pretty bras.

Debenhams and House of Fraser stores stock a good range, if you can't get to a bravissimo shop; once you've found a range/manufacturer that you like and know which of their sizes fits you best, you can then search online for said style/size.
