Bravissimo here too!
They are really good at fitting you into bras and they sell really pretty ones, not like the usual scaffolding that we larger girls usually get offered!
...Linda xxIt's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.0 -
another bravissimo recommendation here.
i also bought this one from figleaves last year for £10 - it's comfortable and has survived the washing machine (too lazy to hand wash every time... which i know is wrong!). fits me pretty much as well as freya, maybe a tiny bit tighter but not uncomfortable (and for £10 I was seriously impressed!). try and buy with other figleaves codes - i got free delivery and 20% off when i got it which made me very happy!

but go and get fitted somewhere else first - M&S are not usually very good, so before going online and spending money find a bravissimo shop, or a big department store that has lots of options in bigger sizes.

I'd also reccommend Bravissimo, they are great; especially for getting measured if you can get to a store. I also have a few from Next (I'm a 34G) and they are really comfortable - I bought them in the clearence store for very little.:staradmin:starmod: beware of geeks bearing .gifs...:starmod::staradmin:starmod: Whoever said "nothing is impossible" obviously never tried to nail jelly to a tree :starmod:0

Another vote for Bravissimo. Even though I'm over 100 miles from their nearest shop, when I was visiting family, I took an hour out to go into their Manchester store. They didn't actually measure me, but used their experience and knowledge to come up with the correct size, and as other posters have said, I felt much more comfortable.
They weren't that much more than M&S anyway, and as others have said, M&S don't seem to get it right for us larger ladies.0 -
I love mine (36gg) I buy from lots of places M&S, figleaves are the usual but I have bought from shops on ebay which are under £10. I'm really lucky as I dont have any back or neck problems.Sealed pot challenge member 218 aiming for £100 17/02/08-17/12/08 :j0

Thanks for the suggestions I will make my way to Bravissimo. I think I live in the only major city not to have one of them! Still never been to Solihull so it will be an interesting trip.0

Bra fitter here!
My advice: if you cant get to bravissimo, then try debenhams. They stock freya and fantasie (should do, depending on the size of the store) and will be able to help you out.
You pay for what you get really, i would only go for a cheap bra if you wanna go for the look of the bra or a solution to a top, otherwise im afriad you need the big comfortable supportive ones.
I also suggest not buying online, im only 32c so i could get away with it but once you get up to your size you really need to try it and it get someone to check the fit every time you buy a bra.
Bear in mind youre never normally "one size" Especially if you have a few changes of brand and style in your wardrobe. My bras range from 34A, 34B, 32B, 32C and ive even got a 32D. It depends on a number of factors so just be weary of that too and dont be shocked if you get fitted into a bra that is a different size to another. Although you gotta make sure that its correct and the fitter is a good one!
good luck nad i hope you find something!0 -
Rigby & Peller all the way for me - pricy for 38F but worth every penny. I bought 2 bras from there 3 years ago for about £120 and they're both still going strong. I bought 2 sports bras from Bravissimo but wasn't really impressed.0
