  • Ample Bosom in North Yorkshire are good.

They got loads (about 100) bras in your size, though the prices vary alot.

There's a very pretty one in 38G in their "bargain box" at present - £15.

Big boobs and cheap bras just don't go. I would rather have a couple of properly fitting bras than a load of cheap ones.

M&S bras for big boobs annoy me. They have a special DD-G range, however, it all seems to be made from sheer, unsupportive fabrics. I have a few bras from Bravissimo which I had properly fitted in the shop and wouldn't swap them for the world.
  • Sports bras work for me. They are also good because most of them have a wick effect under the bust which is a boon if you get a rash there.

I'd also recommend Bravissimo. I've found the service is really good.
They tend to go by what the bra looks (and feels) like on you, rather than actually measuring you.
Often it's the shape/style of bra as well as the size which will determine whether or not it's a good fit.
Hope you find something, - having a well-fitting bra can make all the difference to the way you feel about your appearance, too.

If you can't find the right bra I offer a service that means I will follow you around all day holding them up for you. This service is absolutely free and aimed at those under 40. Certain other terms and conditions apply.:D

  • Bravissimo are definitely the place to go. Agree with the others that it is worth paying a bit more to get something comfortable - it wil last for ages.

BTW you might think you're bad but I saw a fairly busty girl in the gym the other day obviously wearing a wonderbra while running. It was that kind of carcrash thing that you can't watch but can't look away from. She looked so uncomfortable and all the poor guys couldn't figure out where to look :)

Oh and M&S do quite a good plain bra that comes in bigger sizes but I'd recommend taking as many as allowed into the changing rooms and trying them on till you get a fit, no point in bothering with the fitters, do what feels right.

My OH uses bravissimo as well, I personally like the Freya range :)
She finds a size and bra she likes, then can buy it on ebay if she finds one good value. Bravissimo always takes back items that don't fit properly, no problem.
As a man I feel that buying a good bra is a good investment, don't skimp and get a cheap one that gives you back ache, low esteem and saggy boobs, in the long run its worth it. Cut back in other ways.
The few pounds extra you pay now will be good for you and your oh in the future.

I like freya as well (I am 36FF:eek:) and also panache. I think the style is just as important and I found a balconette style works best for me, it keeps me still lol and gives me a nice shape with a bit of cleavage but not in your face which i dont like.
I use brastop alot, or figleaves if i am flush. We have a shop in cardiff called leia which sells the freya makes and they have a loyalty scheme where if you buy 10 bras your next one is free, yes it can be rigby & peller if you want!!they stamp your card.
they have fitting service too. not sure if that shop is nationwide??

  • I too am a Bravissimo girl!! I have tried various brands that they sell but tend to stick to either freya or panache these days, I am a 32H and currently my underwear drawer is over spilling with panache tango II bras, they are a balconette style, but as they are a larger cup still cover a lot of your boob, I can't bear full cup bras personally as i feel they're for older ladies (i'm 28), anyway, in bravissimo you'll find gorgeous colurs and styles, you can buy over the phone, on line or in their shops, the girls at customer service do a great job over the phone so can help you out. also, you can return bras for a full refund. once you find one that suits you try searching for it on ebay, i've bought my last few bras from ebay (in my usual brand) for approx £15 each!!

It really is worth paying slightly more for a bra, you'll find the new you amazing and you'll have so much confidence!!

Before I had a reduction a couple of years ago I think I had tried every make out there and the only one I would reccomend is bravissimo, They really fit well and the pain in my back and shoulders was far better.
