Agree absolutely Bravissimo all the way. I'm a 34k & love the panache range and their swimwears very supportive too. Gracie the Bravissimo in the Touchwood Centre @ Solihull is great. They do get quite busy on a weekend & I know they used to take apts for fittings so it may be worth giving them a ring to check. Its an hours drive from me but going there is a treat theres a John Lewis, Mexx, Lakeland. Have fun.

How wrong bra sizes can be: http://www.brastop.com/bra_fitting_stories.aspx

Bravissomo is very good in bra fitting and they have lots of stores. Measuring bras is not the same as bra fitting service. My half just got few bras from me for valentines, then one I like !

  • If you are in solihull it may be worth going to a few of the larger department stores once you have been to Bravissimo, although as people have said before the girls in there are really nice and so you'll probably feel obliged to buy from them!

Bravissimo also do clothes in "bra sizes" too - normal things like shirts, nice tops, jackets etc that take into account the fact that not all of us have big bellies just because we have big boobs!

I have found their suits a life saver - before I was either have to buy a size that didn't button up to fit the shoulders or look like i was playing dress up in order to button it nicely!

They have also started stocking a few nice black dresses that again focus on what styles fit the bigger boobs and not just "pretty dresses in bigger sizes"

In fact I may have to make a trip over there again myself.....may see you there!!

I can heartily recommend a level 4 'shock absorber' sports bra... straps em in place... they're around 26 quid a bra (i'm sure you can wangle codes/etc on figleaves), but they're worth it... I'm 34F/FF and I use it to go running!

    I've been Money Tipped!
Dont be afraid to pick up a cup size either side of your size and try them on too, Your size may be a standard fit but the bra's dont always match up with what they are supposed to be holding up.....

I couldn't agree more, my OH often finds that she can get several bras all the 'same' size but they fit completely different

I can recommend debenhams, you usually find qualified fitters there.

I've heard Charnos BioForm are pretty good and use plastic mouldings instead of wires for support, not sure if they are still available though...there was a program on TV where 2 egghead blokes designed things for the better and one was the Bioform...probably easy to undo with one hand too, you know what I mean? ;)

This thread has inspired me to give her a measure tonight and go hunting on figleaves.com :D
  • another bravissimo here :) recently went from a 34dd to a 34f within a couple of months, and so bought bigger bras from loads of different places, bravissimo were the best hands down  i think thats my growth spurt over now. well i hope so or thats another big expense for me!
Wins since June: iPod shuffle 1gb, Samsung g800, cinema ticket, lush retro giftbox, 2x mp3 downloads, a big box of food (???)
