Not a chance of lugging it downstairs and outside today...the forcast is showers ALL day  So I'll open the window and stand it up in the room. ATM it's on the floor with more toyboxes on it.

What can I use to clean it? Will stardrops work?

Stardrops would be good diluted - let us know how you get on.

I would think stardrops would help in some way. My little one had a major nosebleed the other day and stardrops got it all out (admittedly it wasn't soaked through, but it did do the trick)
Also, most £1 shops have mattress protectors. I put this on the mattress and then cover with a towel so that it is comfy to sleep on.

When this has happened before in our house, I have scrubbed the mattress and left it against a radiator to dry, turning it regularly.

In my experience, I think she will be on the floor tonight, they take ages to dry out.

    Hi nicki,

If it's not too late some of the replies on these older threads might help:

Well I had the window open all day (except during the school run) and the heater on and would you believe it was dry by 7pm :D Only trouble is it still stinks of urine so I'm going to have to try deodorising stuff tomorrow..bicarb?

I have used bicarb before but being for the little one do it on the morning and vacuum it off later. Or do one side with a diluted zolflora/water spray. Febreeze if you have it, few options. Vax is great for beds. There is one in argos for about £60 I think half price, mines saved me a fortune in mattresses and carpets with having tiddles! Pressuming you've washed the frame down too, I forgot that once and couldn't figure out where the smell was coming from. Worth sometimes putting plastic under mattress if they are a frequent wetter to save the frame.
One day I might be more organised...........
