I emailed my partner at work and suggested that I had one of these to make my life easier .... he has now gone and done a search and came across my post on this thread ooops ! lol ... he seems to be cheking out prices etc though and has told me I have to sell things on ebay to raise the money ..... Maybe I should sell all of his xbox games so I can have a press :)

With us finally getting some nice weather I was able to get loads of washing out on the line and then I plonked it all on the sofa and there was loads but I managed to press it all in less than an hour where it would normally have taken about two hours - and the finish was much more professional!

Just bide your time and you'll get one at a good price. You must keep us updated, i'm dying to know how you get on! :T
  • I'm confused now...not that it takes much :p lol........I'm looking at buying one on ebay...is it the steam press or the steam (almost steam cleaner) thing people have been having difficulty with? I'm looking at steam presses but I don't want anything that will burn me easily, as chances are I'll be ironing when the children are around...

QVC have got a steam press as their today's special vale, which I'm going to buy thanks to this thread! The beauty of QVC is that you have a 30 day money-back guarantee, which gives me a month to iron everything in the house and decide if it's a keeper.

I am still using mine - have had it for at least 4 years now. I still have an iron somewhere for emergencies but I havent seen it for a while.

ETA Erics Mum - the QVC one looks like a good deal to me.
