    Hi All,

I'm afraid I haven't had time to read any posts today as we have lost our internet connection at home. We have whizzed down to a local bar with free wifi for me to do the essential work I need to do and I thought I'd quickly post on here too. Hope we are not off for too long - I feel bereft without it.

Got my pedometer working yesterday and found our normal shortest walk is just under 5,000 steps. Its playing up again today so think I've done more than the amount showing. I think its about 3,000 steps for the walk we do up to the library and back, which we did earlier.

Hope to catch up as soon as possible.

Well you should feel proud - according to Gillian McPoo - she says that's how it should be :p

Not that I'd know - in fact I didn't believe her and thought once a day was "normal"

Heeee Heeeee GIllian Mc P. Is it carpy tv programme tonight that I can't resist watching? I don't really watch anything else at all. SOmetimes Grand Designs, but only to keep DH company. Now I have my own GD it's lost its appeal! LOL! '

G McP said the other day on something she went twice a day.

  • Oh yes, Gillian McP is on tonight. Don't know why I watch it either cos she irritates the **** out of me, sour faced old bat! Like the woman who's testing all the diets out though, she's just so normal!

Pigpen....your children are all so goodlooking...and there isn't one of them you'd swop for the world! You beat me by one...I have 3 boys and four girls, youngest almost 27...wouldn't be without any of them but could cheerfully kill any or all of them at various times.

Not been a good girl to-day...had wheat and rice flakes or some such for breakfast...nice with a glass of OJ...then had two bowls of soup to finish yesterdays dinner, piece of fish with 6 of OH's chips...
piece of clementine cake, handful each of dates and cranberries, two slices of bread and butter heaped with some lovely blackcurrant jam I found the other day!

Early night to-night as I am absolutely dog-tired ( why do we say that??) and am on school duty in the morning for DGS2...9 miles by 8.45, so will not walk.

Very cold here to-day, heat on non-stop as OH is cold all the time

    Have a good evening

    Marie

Cabbage does it for me every time!

Don't often have a problem in that department, regular as clockwork, straight after my morning cuppa.

Just had butternut squash risotto - yummy:drool: I did have a thin slice of b&b as soon as I got in - wobbly leg syndrome, must be a day for it today! I'd had an apple just before leaving work, don't know why but I'm always starving about an hour afterwards and I'm not overkeen on apples anyway.......

I've got a bit of a problem tomorrow, we're going over to meet some collegues from another department in the morning and they're doing coffee and toast for us:doh: , I can't skip brekkie as I'm up at 5-30am and this isn't until 10am. Then we've got a buffet lunch that I ought to go to:doh: and I've got dancing after work so I won't get home until 8ish and will be ravenous:eek: I think I'll just have to 'go with the flow' and risk a carb overdose, I will try to avoid the cake - promise!!

    See you tomorrow ladies :A

Belinda you wally! Come round here and I'll run you a bath ;) We aint got Rosemary stuff but I have got a nice apricot bath bubbly foamy thing, and then I'll make ya a nice cuppa :D

What a nice offer. I got my bath eventually and even managed to cook a HM quorn chilli and some SW spicy wedges. Hopefully, I will stay off the rubbish tonight.

Toniwoty - it's just a wee blimp. At least you know where it came from. Fridge chart sounds a good idea.

    Bye for now
