Good afternoon. Not doing bad so far. Half a can of tomato soup, 4 slices seedy bread (2 toasted for brekkie, 2 with soup) 2 coffees to try to wake me up and no snacks. I lost my meal plan, I can't remember what was on it, so must improvise. I am thinking scampi and chips (done in actifry) with peas......
One day I might be more organised...........

MMMm just had some salad with M& S basil dressing (LF) and Aldi smoked mackerel. How good for me! DO need something else though. Might have hm yogt with rasp freezer jam, but that isn't that good for the blood sugar. Fruit? Dunno, will start with a cuppa.

    Afternoon all,

Can't believe that the day has flown to this time...I got up at 7.30 but it seems like 5 minutes ago! Now that I think of it, brought DGS2 to school, went to whole food shop, brought bread to DS3, made more bread...by hand, seem to have got the knack so rarely used bread maker, made half gallon soup which is simmering away as I type...gave DGD3 some bottle and fed DGD1...several times!

Today I have eaten...2 sliced hm bread toasted, with baked beans, 1 slice same bread with hm blackcurrant jam...thought it was all gone, so taking my share before someone else finds it!

Chicken breast to-night, may just have it poached in some of the soup with a baked potato

    Congratulations losers

Frogga- I never know what you are talking about with this top spot thing, but then I remembered that I have set my settings to display the most recent posts first as I find that easier- so I guess that gives me a different view to you.

Quick question to you clever lovely people - i've got 1/2 a jar of Thai Green curry paste in the fridge, but coconut mik / creamed coconut upsets my stomach.. any ideas what to do with it? I've had green thai chicken soup before but that probably had some sort of coconut base too. Is it worth experiementing, perhaps with the paste, toms, stock and ginger/veg? x

    Afternoon all :D

Sooo how is everyone diddling? all well i hope :D

I have just made the turkey meatballs -so they are sat in the fridge for whacking in the oven later , and made some tzatziki to go with them in the wraps... i tasted it..well you have to don't you..make sure its alright and all that :p ...bloomin heck that garlis is strong.. i only put 1 clove in but we are gonna stink later :rotfl:(what doesn't get used..hubbie can have with his breadsticks later -if he gets the munchies;) ) and the onions are sliced ready to go in the oven..oh and i have thrown in some frozen peppers too..nom nom nom
So just a bit of salad to do later, oh and roll the tortillas out... hubby now has 3 and i have 1 :A :rotfl: ....I could eat 2 -but only because they are nice -not because i NEED 2;)
and the other half of the meatballs will stay in the fridge and i think i will make some pasta tomorrow and have meatballs with a creamy tomato sauce :T ..or to make it "different" i could bash the meatballs back up and use it to fill ravioli :p

Apart from that i have been sat on my behind going through recipes and listening to BON JOVI ahhhhh bliss :D

so far today i have pretty much stuck to my plan - a yoghurt for brekkie , 2 quorn "chicken" burgers for lunch and an orange....oh and shed loads of water to drink .....

Looks like i have started an orange fetish on the thread :rotfl: i love blood oranges too oooohhh and grapefruits -especially the ruby ones mmmmm god i have no excuse for being over weight in the 1st place... i love salads, veg, fruit..what have i been doing for the lass X many years  ... oh thats it "im a greedy moo" :p

    Meanmarie..
i find making bread by hand is much better.. i only used my machine to mix the dough and then shoved it in the oven..my BM is now in the basement and will be going once i find someone who can use it..... sometimes my dough is left to rise all day ..it has a much better flavour n texture that way doesn't it...

Right after that waffle i will get back to my mags :D
have a great afternoon everyone..and keep up the good work :T

    Hi bobbadog...

You could use the paste in meatballs, burgers etc...

If you are wanting curry then i would go with replacing the coconut milk with chopped tomatoes or pasata.. and add a dollop of cream cheese so you still get a creamy texture to go with the thai paste... or ooh a thought.. how about replacing the coconut milk with normal milk..and add a dollop of cream cheese to make it a less thin consistency :D

Lisa_martin...step away from those crisps :rotfl: ..... go and have a walk, ring a friend, brush your teeth... would they help ? come on you can resist ;)

    Ok bobbadog..im back..
I have a recipe here for curried rice noodles with chicken...No coconut milk -and 245cals a serving -any use?

Jump on 'em quick before you have a chance to eat them, tip them in the bin and cover them with washing up liquid.

Or you could call your 'food coach' like Anna Richardson did on skinny supersize me last night. The FC told her not to let her life be ruled by a muffin with 750 cals in it... or some such thing.

MOre realistically.... what has made you feel like that? Try a cup of tea first.
