    Morning all :D

Just got back from Aldi -its brass monkeys out there:eek: ... so only 1hr and 4000 steps done so far.... will need to do lots of wandering around the house today;)

    Well meals today....
    1. brekkie -going to have a yoghurt and an orange in a minute
    2. lunch -quorn burger and salad -the lovely chicken burger ones -not very often i buy anything like that now..but they were on offer at €1 so i thought id have a change:D
    3. dinner - hubby has requested tortillas stuffed with the turkey mearballs and caramalised onions served with salad nomnomnom
    4. and snackies..fruit or yogs... just picked up another 4kilo of navels... 16 might last me until monday or not :o...and 8 more cherry yogs... i could live on those 2 things just lately
Also picked up another white cabbage to make more coleslaw ;)

Today i am planning on doing as little as possible :D think im gonna carry on trawling through my magazines for recipes...

Hubby has really taken to those breadsticks i made at the weekend -wrapped in a teatowel they stay really crispy.. he had some last night with a dollop of cream cheese with garlic n herbs..i tried a bite and it is lovely... so i must make some different varieties..if it keeps him off of salted peanuts it will be a bonus..plus its something if i get the munchies and want something crunchy.... going to see what other savoury biscuit/snack recipes i can find..

Toniwotty.... don't worry about that itty bitty gain..you will soon shift it again ;)

Morning frogga... now are we sulking ???? you can't have top spot every time..you have to learn to share :p .. hope all is well this morning -apart from not getting the top spot of course :D

Well not much happening on the thread yet today -so i will tootle off and get my brekkie..have a great day everyone..keep up the good work -and good luck to anyone weighing in today :D

Well done Queenpig - if your sig is up to date that means you've nearly reached your first challenge. :T

You eat navel oranges, MrsMc? Are they those bitter ones they make marmalade out of? You must be made of stronger stuff than me. :p I'm wincing eating these mandarins that I keep buying expecting to taste different each time.

    Food today:
    Readybrek
Chicken salad sarnie in HM seedy bread with picalilli or mango chutney.
Creamy lemon chicken pasta with salad and garlic dough balls.

I might actually get this dinner made tonight if the lads don't spring another prior engagement on me again. Its only the 3rd time I've arranged to make it this past week so hopefully we'll get there tonight.

Hmmm I'm sitting here with a very big packet of chocolate biccies not 2 feet away  and they're OPEN. Mum's been visiting again.:wall: They're dark chocolate, too. I like them best. _pale_
Do you think they would survive if I bunged them in the freezer? I don't want to spoil them for the others but today is not a day for me having them under my nose, I don't think. :o TOTM about due and I could eat anything thats not still breathing.

Must keep busy, which is hard as DS2 says he doesn't need my help with his school work and the house is fine. Maybe clear off that bitty bit of ironing and go try on a few clothes.

OOooh DS1 took a new pic of me for my scrapbook.. took him a bit cos I rejected 5 or 6 , he made me look FAT  still we got there in the end. I still look fat but he chose one and said I should use that as I looked pretty. :o I may look chunky but at least he thinks I don't have a face like a chickens bottom. ;) I actually can finally see a difference so I'm glad I braved the camera and kept a record.... I usually run when the cameras come out. :p

Have a good day everyone. :D

    Morning cheerfulness :rotfl:

Nope...the marmalade oranges are seville ..navel are the big ones that have a funny "belly button" on one end..and are yummmmy i have to keep all my fruit in the fridge though so its lovely n cold ...can't stand fruit off a fruit plate/bowl

I would freeze the biccies... if they don't defrost very well bash em up and make a base for a cheesescale for the kids ,or spoon it over icecream for them-sure they won't mind ;)

You will be soooo glad you have a photo-eventually :p ... i have the dreaded 1 but when i compare it to the one hubby took the other week it makes you realise just how far you have come..great motivation

Oh blow it! I've been avoiding the 'belly button' ones thinking they were those bitter ones and Aldi's had loads in at a good price, too.
Thanks for setting us right and I'll have to have a scoot down later and pick some up. I am actually 'fruitless' in the house now. Mine live in the fridge, too. ;)

I couldn't agree more about the piccies. I only have two but it gives you a lift when you start seeing a change. My mum compared the two yesterday and said, 'goodness, wasn't your face fat before.'

    FRUITLESS

If i get below 4 pieces of fruit and 2 yoghurts in the fridge is a national emergancy :rotfl: ... hubby doesn't eat either... but i get through loads...

I now have 16 oranges, 2 apples (am prefering oranges at the mo) and 12 yogs in the fridge...so i think i should be ok for a few days :p

Navels are usually lovely n juicy mmm

Yep, i will eventually get the "ohhhhh isn't your face tiny NOW" which -on the flip side is saying "god didn't you have a fat face before" :rotfl: mind its true.. still at least now there is a gap between my chin(s) and my chest :p

    Hi everyone,

    Hope your all well.

Yesterday I had a really good day, well I had to after everything I ate on Monday for my birthday tea mmmmm.

    Anyway, yesterday I had:-

Breakfast - yogurt & musli (sp)
Lunch - hot n spicy chicken wings (no skin)
Dinner - breaded haddock with half a plate of veg
    Snack - bounty bar
Supper- toasted cheese on HM bread

Considering what I usually eat, I thought I was really good.

Dont know what Im having for dinner tonight though, havent taken anything out of the freezer. I might just make macaroni or HM soup. Infact, I might just make both, considering Im back at work tomorrow, and I will just have one dish tonight, and the other tomorrow.

Going badminton tonight with SIL (shes a skinny mini), but I love her to bits, she has me running around ragged, so, I should be well and truely puffed after that.

    Jackie xx
