Evening all
Well my meal plan went a bit skew-wiff today.... but i have eaten less some how
I had an inkling hubby would be home earlier than the 4pm he told me..so i had an orange for brekkie, held off on lunch as i usually eat it and then hubby comes home early and so dinner ends up early  and luckily hubby turned up early :j at about 1pm so we had the chicken dinner and since then i have had 2 breadsticks (found a recipe for caraway ones so thought i would give them a try and they are rather niceand hubby likes them.. i made them, hoping it would be a crunchy snacky for him instead of salted peanuts) and i have had a yoghurt and an orange.... Im not hungry so i think i may give dinner a miss..and will have fruit n yog later if im hungry
Going to give the bread sticks a go again - some with poppy seeds, some sesame, some garlic, and some parmesan... and then keep them in a tub so hubby can have them with Hm dips...tzatziki, garlic etc
Cheerfulness...
I used to love morrisons sausage rolls from the bakery mmmmmmm
I can't do "chicken sick pie"not shop ones anyway.. its odd as I said the other day that i was going to make a chicken n ham pie as i have stripped a chicken off today and sliced a gammon so have more than enough left over...great minds
Saversarn
I think the rice would freeze ok... the almonds might go a bit "spongy" though.... Rice is one of the few things i don't eat much of... not much of a fan...and i can't say that about many foods :rotfl:
Well Im off for a walk in the morning...... need some oranges, carrots, broccoli and sweetcorn...oh nd lovely Lil_me over on the grocery thread has told me the German names for the flour to make corn tortillas and the flour to make pasta..so that is my excuse to walk to "real"....extra cals etc
Right im of to watch dancing on ice..
Have a great evening everyone....and good luck to all those weighing in or starting afresh in the morning...fingers crossed-6 -8 -3 -1.5 -2.5 -3 -1.5-3.50 -
Hello Everyone and thank you all for you kind words and positive thoughts - I really appreciate it and am going to make a real effort to turn things around food wise. Food today has been not great - but not that bad either:
Breakfast - DD2 (she's just 10) made me weetabix with banana, 2 slices of wholemeal toast with low fat spread and hm marmalade and a glass of light grape juice and a cup of tea - she carried it upstairs herself while I was still asleep (as was lazybones DD1, whose 17) and came triumphantly into the bedroom and tripped over and the whole thing went all over the bed and my nice clean bedding! poor thing she was soooooo upset. I salvaged the toast and some of the weetabix and ate them and said they were delicious, but inside I was screaming as I thought of all the work changing the bed and washing the duvet!!! Anyway on to
Lunch - cup of pea and ham soup and 2 pittas with ham and salad
Dinner - chicken stuffing couple of small potatoes and some gravy
snacks - apple, nutrigrain carrot bar, cups of tea and 2 glasses of Welch's light grape juice.
Not too many steps today and fell asleep in chair after lunch (kids were out with their father)- so only 1690 so far.
I would LOVE to go back to the surgeon on 3rd April and be able to say I have lost weight and am going it alone - so we will have to see.....
Hope you have all had a nice Sunday - Well done to all the losers and Good luck for tomorrow's weighers!Jane

Morning All,
Can't give you any news re the WI yet as I'm doing it at work so you'll have to wait til I get home after lunch
I know I'm gonna be dissappointed whatever it says as I really don't think I'll have lost 4 stone in a month so anything else will not be good enough  Realisticly I guess I should be hoping for 17 something and if it's not even that I'm gonna be really

morning all,
feeling a little better after a weekend of indulgence - not just foodwise, had some serious retail therapy on Saturday, although thankfully it was my friend spending most of the money, but it was nice to look round the shops!
I don't think I was too bad in terms of food, it was just my evening meal letting me down rather than snacks!
Been reading thru the thread. We've been a very up/down bunch this weekend! GOOD LUCK TO ALL THOSE WEIGHING IN. And those who feel stuck and down, stick at it, slow and steady means you're more likely to keep it off.
MRSM I have to say your comment re weight loss of just a pound a week over the course of a year really made me feel better. I've been panicking as I get married Sept next year, which means (ideally!) I need to be at target weight by January so I can get a dress properly fitted and adjusted in time. I've got just over 3 stone to lose in 9 months, which means I need to lose between 4 and 5lbs a month, so about 1lb a week, totally do-able! Feeling much more positive now :T
A big :grouphug: to anyone, who like me is going thru a particularly stressful time. Just remember, time is a healer.
Right off to do some housework and exercise :j
 to everyone, I don't have enough brainpower to list everyone!! We seem to be rapidly adding to our group lately

Morning all,
Big positives vibes to those on their 'fresh starts' today... nice brand new week and clean sheet.
RC - Really hoping that you can show you surgeon what you're capable of, even if you're not sure yet what that is yet.Everyone is rooting for you and will try and help if we see you tottering.
I think I'm lucky because I have the time to nip on here several times in the day and if I'm feeling like I'm starting to flounder I often find others that are wobbling too. Just trying to think of something that might help them makes me forget my own jitters. I guess thats how supporting each other works.
Oh and your poor little girl, bless her. I bet she was so excited preparing that and carrying it up the stairs. I wonder how many grateful mums had their breakfast land in their lap yesterday when delivered by their little mite?
Makes you wonder how many times over the years pigpen has had a scalded tummy with her 8 littlees.
Frogga - whatever those scales say today you are gonna be a fitter frog and not the same frustrated frog that had her mouth bulging with CC eggs a few weeks ago.
This last 4 weeks you've been the most positive that I've seen since I joined this thread in Dec. Whatever those scales say, you've seemed happier.
Holding our breath for you.
Well, I waited and waited yesterday afternoon. I had this idea of my beloved egg salad sandwich in my mind but no matter what I did I couldn't work up any hunger. Darn stomach was having none of it and wouldn't cooperate so I resigned myself at half 6 to not needed anything more till today.
I consoled myself with the idea that I'd have it for my breakfast.. of course this morning the idea of egg sarnie for breakfast is stomach wrenching and I'm going to have my Readybrek.
At least I am learning the difference between hunger and fancying. I used to be really good at conning myself but I've developed an inner honesty these days. Around 8.45 my tummy started to rumble but it was near the end of Larkrise to Candleford and I wasn't budging. Somehow I forgot and went to bed without, so can't have been that hungry.
Food today:
Readybrek
Chicken salad sandwich with picallili
Creamy lemon chicken pasta with salad
Oh its snowing. Really huge white chunks and loads of it. :j Aww washing has just finished, ready to hang out. It was really sunny not 10 minutes since. Oh well, radiators on and hellllo Bermuda.AUGUST GROCERY CHALLENGE £115.93/ £250
