    morning everybody

mhe big ***HUG*** we all do silly things sometimes. just try to counterbalance it, so if you know you have overeaten make yourself go for a long walk or do some housework (and really put some elbow grease in!!) aside frm that i don't have much advice, i'm not a big binger really, i just tend to graze aaaaaalllllllllllllllllllll day and have bigger portions than i should :o i'm sure someone will come along with advice on binging soon ;)

i decided this morning to WI cos its OH's birthday and his dad is bringing a chinese later! have to say i don't enjoy takeaway as much lately (aside from a good indian - my favourite!!) it just seems to taste of fat

    anywho WI.....drum roll..............i've lost...............3.25 lbs!
and i'm dead chuffed with that :D:D:D

    Morning all

oooohhhh Toniwoty....I can see them taking WHOLE pannels out of your wedding dress at this rate :j ..congratulations on the loss :T

Hope we all had a good weekend.....

    Meals today:-
    1. brekkie -making a juice in a moment..kiwi, melon, pinapple I think.. followed by oats with dried apple n sultanas that i put to soak last night
    2. lunch -avocado and kraut salat i think
    3. dinner- doing a feta salad with jacket potato i think
    4. snackies- fruit or yogurt
Hoping to get out in the garden after brekkie..it looks quite nippy but at least it isn't raining (yet  ) so want to get the last few bits potted out.. just some more peas, courgettes and peppers than im done ....oh apart from the sweet potatoes im having a go at...
I have started tham off from a supermarket one - which apparently is difficult.. i have grown 4 slips and put them out and have counted another 18 shoots appearing on the potatoes indoors:j they reckon each one should give you at least 2 or 3 sweet potatoes..fingers crossed

Well done on the losses lainz and M.E :T

right just a quick one as nothing much is happening here.so will get off and pop back later ......have a great day everyone :D

Frogga - next pressie time ask for scales. Fancy not knowing the 1/4 lbs. They can be make or break, blooming heck!

Well done to Toniwoty and M.E on your losses. :T :T :T

mhe - ((hugs)) its easy to start munching when they're away. I was a toad when OH was away working for a few weeks last year.
Now I treat myself like a toddler and try and distract myself from the 'danger zone.' I joined in with the cross stitching, altho my veg patch is keeping me busier at the mo.
I also call my SIL now when I'm about to blow and she talks me down, usually with the offer of a coffee at her place. :D It helps because I feel much better when I get back.

What does everyone else do when the munches hit and there's no one else around?

frogga i've got fancy digital scales - tells you how much you weigh, how much your body fat weighs (!!!!) % body fat, % water, BMI, how you've lost since last time, how much you've lost in total and how much til your target. all for the princely sum of £18.00 from amazon (plus I used a £10 valued opinions voucher so really only £8 - look at me go!!!)

    Morning all!

Can't say it was a disastarous weekend, but I certainly was a bit naughtier than I should have been! Friday night = tuna pasta (wholewheat) and a couple of JD and diet cokes. Sat: cheese and pickle sandwhich (wholemeal) for lunch. Dinner: HM pizza (veg, cheese) for guests - had a little party... quite a few vodka and apple juices. Couple of shots of JAgermeister. Glass of red wine (!). Not enough for a hangover. Didn't overeat (2 small slices of pizza) as had a bit of a dodgy tummy. Sunday: lots of orange juice, 2 mini sausgae rolls, macaroni cheese, 2 x quorn burgers in a bun, corn on the cob.

OH and I are off alcohol for the week ;)

    Today:
    B: 1 x dippy egg with 1/2 a small part baked roll!
    S: pear
L: 1/2 carton of tom and red pepper soup, corn on cob, salad
D: HM prawn balti, rice, poppadoms (and Samosas for OH).

Made OH a tuna sweetcorn roll, pear and low fat crisps for his lunch, with a tiny bar of choc. Hope that's enough for him! x

i so deserve to be fat. Eaten sensibly Mon to Fri then gets to weekend and pig out an choc cos hubby away playing golf and feeling bored:mad:   So no good news for me tomorrow then i guess. Why do i feel the need to pig out at times? And even as im doing it im thinking you shouldnt be doing this you a re fat and that makes you feel down - put the choc down and get a grip - but i cant !!!!! Im fed up drawing a line under it and moving on to a new week - ive got a whole ruled page now and no loss to show for it - maybe i should just learn to like the fatter me instead.

Do you know, mhe? I was just thinking how silly I am! I manage fairly well during the week, but at weekends I'm just really 'bad'. Not in a big bingey sort of way, just constant lowlevel 'badness' that mounts up so quickly.

Hmmm, good thing it's Monday! Having soaked oats and taking nothing in to work but a flask of coffee and maybe a satsuma.

ETA Philosophy is wondering whether a Bloody Mary counts as a Smoothie
  • Got on the scales this morning, Damage not as bad as I thought, "only" have put on 2lbs despite scoffing my way through most of the bakeries in wales. New start today with smoothie for breakkie, salad for lunch and maybe more salad and some prawns for tea. will snack on fruit and nuts.

Taplady - Sorry your IBS is playing up. Not suffered from it since I got pregnant but remember it very well. Not at all nice :(

Agapanthus - glad I'm not the only who moves scales around. Mine never change though :(. I blame DH who laid the bathroom tiles :p .

mhe - I'm thinking your way too lately about just putting up about being fat. I'm thinking that I should just accept it but there's this little unhappy voice inside me screaming Noooooooooooo. I suppose we all go through this, just have to learn to put the chocolate down and walk away

MrsM - Am so jealous of your apotment. I really need a kick up the bum, it's a nice day here and if I don't get out into the garden to sow some salad stuff and pot out my runner beans I think I'll end up not doing at all. Really don't know if I'm leaving it all a bit too late. Bad news about my some of my bedding plants, asked next door neighbour to water them whilst we were away but she only did them once as she was full of flu. Fair enough as she was ill but this was the first time in 6 years I have asked her to do anything, I have to feed her cats at least one weekend a month when she goes away.

Well dones to Toni, ME and lainz :j :j :j

    Morning

Gutted and I know it's unreasonable, really need to give myself a kick up the erse - weigh in and I've lost 1lb . Sorry sorry sorry, I know I should be focused on that as a positive because it's a pound off but I'm not *grumbling*. I am getting so panicked - first holiday is in 8 weeks time and I keep looking at myself and hating what I see. I KNOW for sustained weight loss it needs to come off slow and steady but argh sometimes it's really hard staying focused on that.

    B = porridge
L = tofu and veg chilli
D = salad and baked sweet potato

Right I need to go sort my head out, have a greta day everyone xx
