Evening all :hello:
We just had the scrummiest tea :D I made lasagne, I mixed the butternut squash and red onion that I roasted earlier with some walnut pesto then layered the lasagne sheets with that and chopped spinach mixed with fromage frais. For the top I mixed a tub of natural yoghurt with an egg and topped it with grated cheese, baked for 20mins - GORGEOUS:D :D
Anyone interested, it was 2 SW syns for the pesto and a healthy extra for the cheese, will deffo make that again!!

Tomorrow will be spent making curtains and blinds and painting a bedside table if I get time, that's after I've watched the Manchester run on the tv. My friend and her daughter are running it and she seems to think that I'll be running it with her next year :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

See you later folks:A

Hi everyone, well done Saversarn! Didn't post yesterday as spent most of the day getting ready for my DATE! Which went....erm, ok. Spent a couple of hours having a coffee and a chat, but it's been so long since I had a date it all felt decidedly weird. Actually wore jeans and a nice top, felt quite good - tho my magic pants probably helped! Anyway, I stuck to my eating plan. Weigh in on Monday, so will post again then. Am out tonight - a friend is having a birthday meal and some drinks, but I won't overindulge! Have a good weekend everyone, see you Monday.
Now, what makes you think you can get away with ...erm,ok?
Come on dish the dirt:D and this is relevant to the thread as it takes my mind of food;)

If I carry on as I have today I won't be losing next week  I don't know what it is about weekends but my brain just goes into meltdown. Need to get a grip. Actually reading about everyone doing their cross stitch has reminded me that I should really get mine going again. Used to do loads but never seem to have the time now!

Shopped yesterday and brought one of those living salad thingies from Sainsbugs. Was considering planting it out to see if I can keep it going for a while :D

Anyway - am slurping the remains of my wine bottle - not even going to write down what have stuffed today. Tomorrow promises a roast chickie dinner - gawd help me.

Started badly with all that bread this morning and went from bad to worse...not going to post what I have eaten since...feel disgusted with myself.

Purpleivy...when I had consistent low BP years ago I found that taking brewers yeast tablets helped, liquorice is supposed to help too, but I didn't find it so...just ate lots of liquorice allsorts and put on weight!

Night all,

Been interesting on stage with the low BP tonight, but came through unscathed. I'm tired now. Had risotto leftovers at 5.30, but that was rather too early. Nothing to eat since then, so made up for it now, had some leftover apple pud (not too bad ) and skimmed milk custard. had a slice of bread and Marm, now I think I should finish my cuppa tea and wait.

Spent the whole of the time off stage between the 2 halves practising the choreographed number that I was so !!!! at, dh said it looked OK. Only had water to drink this evening. DH just gone to fetch kids from their ceilidh, DYing for my bed, Feet ache, but that's my chorus costume shoes. They absolutely kill!

Night everyone.

OH BUMMER  just lost a long post, oh well here goes again (ish)

i'm up early and full of the joys of summer :D gorgeous day here so bbq should be going ahead. have to sort out the salady bits and some chicken at some point.

OH still in bed  and DS playing cars in his room so i just did my new winsor pilates workout - turned up in post yesterday. i have aches in places i didn't know existed :rotfl: but its quite low impact so maybe good for those of you with joint probs etc?

purpleivy glad chorus performance went well ;) i'm sure you were MARVELLOUS :D

can't remember who mentioned choccy, i wasa naughty girl yesterday and b ought two packs of M&S extremely chocolatey round biscuits....:o ...one of white choc and one of milk. but i have to say they are soooooooooooooooooooooo chocolatey that i can only manage one (ok ok one of each) before i'm all choccied out :rotfl: :rotfl: so far (since yesterday lunchtime) i've had one milk and two white. aren't i :A ??

tried my wedding dress on again yesterday :D its so beautiful i wish i could wear it ALL the time....very pleased as the lady in the shop, as she was lacing the back up said - "oh you've lost weight dear, it fits perfect now" :D:D:D well its only the sample one but its a size 14 so i'm CHUFFED TO FLIPPIN BITS! and it was so nice that she noticed. so a size 14 has been ordered but can be taken in plenty if need be ;) more than anything i want to tone up.
my 'helpers' - dad, OH's mum and friend (my mum and best friend came the first time) all cried too :D old softies they are...!

anyway enough ramble, done to the serious business,
food for today:
b- might have a boily egg and some soldiers
l/d: BBQ, plenty of salady bits, chicken kebabs and not too much red meat or rolls (hopefully :p )

anyway folks have a MARVELLOUS DAY! :A

I can second the frozen grapes thing - used to do it years ago and had forgotten all about it. More grapes on my shopping list for next week then. I find really sweet red grapes are the nicest for it. Wash before freezing. They end up all melt in the mouthy, like little jubblies.

I've been up with the naughty one since 5am so it's been a long picky brekkie. :D Had a banana, grapes, 2 poached eggs and a roll with butter. Um, and an ice lolly. :o

Been busy in the kitchen making more coleslaw, and got some roasted veggies in the oven that I can keep in the fridge and use as a base for different dishes (roast veg quiche for lunch today, roasted veg with chickpeas and hummus in pitta bread for lunch tomorrow).

I still seem to be eating a lot but it's still a massive improvement from my pregnancy cake-fest, so hopefully the scales will continue to be kind. Maybe the weather will be decent enough for a bit of a walk today.
