Morning ladies n gents
Its morning and i have made it here :T .. hubby has just tootled off to the golf course in the hope it won't be snowed under :rotfl: and tomorrow he is on duty... so hopefully i will have a "normal" daywill get out for a walk if its the last thing i do....
When he gets back later we are nipping out as i need some grow bags and compost... then hopefully if its ok tomorrow i can get some stuff potted on ..- Haven't had any brekkie yet, but will grab a nana in a moment
- lunch -think i might have my weetabix
- dinner -hubby will be having chilli n rice bleughhhh so i will have a salad and hm coleslaw
Fingers crossed for your weigh in Taplady... bet you will be fine
Recovering.... i make my bread by hand and much prefer it.. i used to let the BM mix the dough and then i would bake it in the oven.... but the texture and flavour is much better now i do it by hand... i leave the dough to prove nearly all day.. as longer slower proving improves the flavour... and mine doesn't have fat or milk inand is reallly crusty nomnomnom
Newlywed... not long to a new month and pay day... hope your pay goes in early ...fingers crossed
Have to say i haven't missed the eater eggs at all... even ignored all the ones "whoopsed" yesterday too..... I know for me the knack is just not buying them in the 1st place.. made much easier by not having children in the houseI have worked out that i have had NO choc, crisps etc for 13 weeks :T ..... the last bit i had was on xmas day at mums... but im really not tempted... even when hubby left a multi pack lurking whilst he was on duty... frazzles, chipsticks n squares they were... at one time i would have demolished them
Before xmas the last time i had any of that was back in July befor i started on here.... but im really not missing it
right i will get off and get my nana.. hope everyone has a good day .. keep up the good work everyone-6 -8 -3 -1.5 -2.5 -3 -1.5-3.50 -
Morning all.
Ooh mrsm - frazzles and salt and vinegar squares - yup I wouldn't be able to resistI purposely don't buy them for the kids as I know I'd eat em
Not feeling too great today - car has been temperamental and oh had to push it this morning to start it (with a police car following us )
Breakfast was porridge but only ate about half my usual amount - feeling a bit dodgy today.
Lunch is pasta
Tea is chilli from the freezer
Snacks are a banana - coz there's nothing elseworking on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?0 -
Confession time
I ate a huge easter egg and some crisps
I ahve a terrible habit of eating more when I don't feel well. Had a right flu kind of bug and have eaten for Scotland. Much disgusted with myself.
Busy day today, so most meals wiill be quickies like soup and a sandwhich. Had a slice of toast and a banana for breakfast. Well done to everyone who resisted the Easter eggs.:T0 -

Do you mean this one? Post 33?

It's on a Bread Thread and has no Thanks - perhaps because chap poster was mistaking recipe for a true Bread, rather than a non-yeast one.
By the way, use a small beaten egg for glossy crusty loaf, or strong brine for crustiness only.
May I repeat and emphasise the cathartic excellence and morale-lift of mixing/kneading bread in bowl, in sink, while looking out window at whatever the day/nature/sky has passing.
This cannot be overstated.

L: 6 pieces of tortellini in HM tom and red pepper sauce, loads of veg, yoghurtham / mushroom ommellette and beans

Don't do it  I made some last week (a good food recipe) as I had a banana glut, it was TOO NICE :EasterBun I ate most of it myself and had to resort to putting the last of it in the freezer!
Last night I ate a bit more of my Easter egg than I shouldbut I had spent 2 hours stripping wallpaper before hand. That was after a full days work, 12000 steps and a 30min swim at lunchtime :j :j
I have decided that my eating is out of control at the moment, a lot of it is because OH is out most evenings working - poor soul is doing 14/15 hour days at the moment so I cook for myself then carry on eating  so this Thursday night I'm going to go back to SW, there is a new consultant at my nearest class, the old one was a very good friend and was a bit lax with me so a new leader might give me a kick up the bum which is what I really need.
I'll eat sensibly from now though, it's not an excuse to go mad. Toast and marmalade for brekkie, just had a banana and a cereal bar, lunch is salad with 3 bean salad and beetroot with fruit if I need it. Not sure about tea yet, I've got loads in so I'll decide later. Might not get on tonight 'cos of decorating!
See you later folks :A0
