    Hi All

Well done Droopydrawers and Chloebelle on the weight loss. Hope everyone else can do as well.

I have had a lovely day. It's not Bank Holiday here as the Spanish have Maundy Thursday instead so it meant the beach was nice and quiet. Not that it ever really gets more than a dozen people on at this time of year. We had a good long walk, scrambling up rough tracks, to a ruined tower an hour away. We then walked back along the very edge of the sea dodging the waves and stopping at the local bar on the way back for a coffee (OH) and a Coke (me). All in all, we walked for 2 hours, plus rests etc. Along with my trip to the bins this morning (jogging back) and a return trip when I realised the postman had delivered to the bank of post boxes, I have done at least 16,000 steps today. I feel great too as we did a similar walk last year and the steep slopes up to the tower had me puffing and panting. Today I wondered what the problem had been!! The sky was a brilliant blue and its really sunny again so we had an hour sitting on the sunloungers on the patio when we got back.

I've been quite good foodwise too and so feel really happy with the way the day is going.

    B: Usual muesli, juice, etc.
    Snack: Banana, Coke
L: 3 cracker with Camembert and cherry tomatoes.
D: Chicken breast with oven chips, peas, mushrooms. Rasberry yoghurt.

I now need to make a start on writing my weekly article to save getting up early in the morning. I usually do it Monday mornings but figured with it being BH in the UK I could leave it till later.

Have a good rest of the day everyone.

:T Well done Droopydrawers and chloebelle. :T

Well I've had a strange eating day. After yesterdays excess I decided to wait until I was hungry before I ate today and that didn't happen until 4.30pm.
I knew I'd eaten quite a bit of turkey yesterday but it didn't seem that much. I used to tuck away much more than that.

    So food today was:
    Chocolate digestive (at my brothers)
Ham salad sandwich from HM seedy bread

I honestly think that I'll just have a piece of fruit if I fancy anything later, as I still don't feel A1. :( Feel really tired so an evening lazying on the sofa scrapbooking and watching films will finish my holiday weekend of perfectly. :D

Keep plodding everyone and I'll catch up on the weigh ins tomorrow. ;)

mhe - you and me both. :( Three months I've been as good as gold, had loads of chocolate and takeaways pass under my nose and have resisted but get a turkey in the house and my palms are sweating. :o

Had no intention, and certainly no need of anymore food after my ham sarnie but did that stop me? No! I was elbow deep in the turkey again.  I'm not to be trusted with the bird so OH has now surgically removed it from my hands and its now in the freezer. :o

Am so cross with myself  ...thought I was over that but that will teach me to be over confident. :(

Bahhh, I know its only food and not worth getting your knickers in a twist over but I'm so annoyed that I should start slipping just when I've got under the 20st. What a time to do it! Why for goodness sake?

Oh well, tis another brand new day tomorrow.

    Nighty nite everyone.

Come on ladies it's Easter- and as well as being a religious celebration, it is perhaps the worlds largest choc fest:eek: A nightmare for any one trying to lose weight. (Obviously also a poultry fest in Cheerfulness's home:rolleyes:) You've celebrated with your families hopefully enjoyed yourselves, now it's back on the wagon.
A couple of days letting your hair down can't wreck what you have achieved already unless you are weak and let it, and are looking for an excuse to scoff.... and I know you are stronger than that :naughty:
So stop whinging and get on with it, I have every faith in you that you will be joining me and the others on the winners rostrum come Mayday when we have reached the next set of targets:p

    Good evening all,

here I am making a brief reappearance. Did not even try to lose weight over Easter, with all the chocolate kicking about in my home hehehe!

Yesterday I made Hot Cross Buns and forgave myself for really pigging out as they came out DELICIOUS - even if the cross shapes weren't really very cross-shaped, too much dough that spread all over the surface. All my family loved them too!

In the immortal words of Scarlett O'Hara: Tomorrow is another day!

    Goodnight all!

    Hi all,

Not going to even think about what I ate over weekend...suffice it to say that dinner was fish and chips, complete with batter!

Caterina, I agree wholeheartedly...to-morrow is another day!

Night all...haven't even read the thread, off to bed as I am falling asleep

    Morning everyone, :)

Saver, Caterina and Marie... lot of sense spoken and very happy with my new day. :D A good sleep makes all the difference and giving myself a good talking to this morning before I got up helped as well. ;)
You know what the worst of it was...I was sitting thinking 'I'll just have a week off posting and then I don't have to publically face it if I've gone back up a few pounds and no longer in my teens.'

Honestly, not only is that the old me that would 'have a week off' slimming class if I thought it wasn't good with the assurance I'd go back the following week (only then I'd stuff even more and not) ... but its also cowardly. So many post the ups and downs and face up to it. So I will too! :p

Okay so now I can begin my May BH challenge anew and I'll have a new grocery budget challenge for April to play with.. went over last month. :o

    Food today:
    Weetabix (if/when I get hungry)
Egg Salad sandwich on HM seedy bread
    Prawn/cheese omelette with salad

    Snacks - Oranges and apples.

Am going to get stuck into my spring cleaning this week, already attacked the worst room last night (DS1's bedroom) so will finish that today. That should burn up some cals and exercise those muscles. 3 binliners full of 'bits' already in the wheelie...goodness knows how many more when I get into the drawers. :p
A friend coming for lunch and then after I'm going to spend some time planning April's menus with my cookery file and a few mugs of tea. :D

Have a good day everyone and all the best for the weigh ins today. ;)
