    Afternoon all

Heck its nearly tomorrow..im getting later n later :p

Had a tootle out this morning with hubby -in the car....this weather has really put pay to my walking at the moment....and hubby can't get on the golf course  -he went yesterday afternoon..and managed 3 holes before they were driven back into the warmth :rotfl: snow blowing straight in their faces was too much apparently ;)

Had a toasted bagel with baked beans for brekkie/lunch type thing :p Those i made and froze the other week..and it way yummy :D and had a nana and thats about it sooo far... dinner is set to be tortillas stuffed with one of those southern chicken breast sliced up n salad.. but 1 chicken breast between us as they are plenty big enough :T

Really need to get my backside into gear for the new may day challenge..plus im trying to keep my anniversary target in mind too ;) ... its the beginning of August..so 18 weeks after this fridays weigh in and i was hoping to get down to 14st for then... so 21lbs in 18 weeks -should be do-able..if i get my bum shifting :o

Hi RS.. hope your daughter is feeling better soon bless her..

Well done on the losses everyone :T

Yesterday i managed to get the asparagus n baby corn blanched n frozen and i had far to many banabas....so a lot of them got sliced n frozen... and im going to use them on my porridge in the mornings... if i had left them out i would only have eaten them because they were there :o

Raring to start on the April Grocery Challenge... hoping for a ridiculously low one again this month as the freezers are packed solid..so im hoping for just fruit, veg n yogs...fingers crossed . I really find it helps doing that challenge alongside this one as i think about how much money i would be eating too...not just the extra cals ;)

Nothing much happening here - apart from lots of snow.. then sunshine, then sleet, then snow  wouldn't mind if it would make its mind up...

Right i hasd better get off and get something done.... need to stick the bread dough in the tin..it has been proving all day :D

Hope everyone is having a good day -and keep up the good work ;)

  • evening everyone,
no WI just yet, just popping on to tell you all my inspirational idea ;)
i had ben umming and ahhing over what to do with my easter eggs - got 3 in total, i'm quite good in that even if mine are all gone i won't dip into OH's or DS's (lucky as DS got 6! plus a fluffy rabbit and some chocolate lollies) - if i leave mine sitting there i just end up eating them for the sake of it, i swear i can feel them watching me (we have an open plan living room/dining room/kitchen so when i sit on the sofa they are directly behind me in the cupboard :o ) so inspired by DS's nursery I melted one of them down, and mixed it with crunchy nut cornflakes, they are now in little cake cases in the fridge! my problem is.....they are the most delicious cornflake cakes ever made :rotfl: so now i want it more than before.....

as i said earlier my chocolate orange one is in little bits in the fridge, so only one egg left - any ideas?!!!

    xx

    evening everyone!

I hope you've all had a good day! I've been shopping and stocked the freezer up so for tea I had quorn burgers(very nice) with pasta in a cheesy sauce.
DH is back on his healthy eating and has lost 8lbs so far since he started his new job as a milkman. He is over 6ft tall and was 18 stone when he started.
Toniwoty - you can always send your egg to me!:D I'll look after it for you!:EasterBun :D:D:D

Hello everybody, Congratulations to those of you who were able to have a little chocolate over Easter! Congratulations on the double to those of you who lost weight!

To-day I have eaten: 2 slices buttered toast, coffee and half pint water; small serving shepherds pie, peas, salad, small pavlova with fruit and ice-cream, tea; 2 fajitas with chicken, salad and yogurt; piece of chocolate cake, 8 chocolates and pint of water...going for another pint now on my way to bed.

    See you all to-morrow

  • Oops! spoke to soon earlier! I was soooo good all over Easter and then tonight - for no reason at all - I found myself mindlessly eating all the broken bits of easter egg which DD2 had put into a little tupperware for herself! I probably ate the equivilent of about two small bars of chocolate - or maybe three:o it's hard to tell with broken chocolate! I also had soda bread toast and poached egg for tea and had a bit too much soda bread because it was soooo yummy. I bought a breadmaker from Tescos last week but took it back tonight because it is too much of a temptation and the bread it made wasn't that nice. Well back to the eating plan tomorrow. i would still say overall though, that I have eaten less this Easter, including today, than in any other year for ages.

DD2 is loving having a broken finger and is very hopeful that she will get a plaster cast on tomorrow - kids are just weird aren't they? Mind you I did get her a Hannah Montana pillow thingie in Tescos before because I felt guilty for not being more sympathetic yesterday.

Hope you have all had a good day.

mhe - I was thinking the same...I just know that would be me up and down like a jack-in-a-box if I drank lots near bedtime. :rotfl: :rotfl:

Got back into my stride again yesterday and feel tons better. :D
Jigged my meals around a bit yesterday because my friend couldn't come to lunch as her DH was having a bad day (parkinsons disease) so we nipped round for the evening instead.
Mum asked if she could come to lunch today so I've saved the cheese and prawn omelette to have with her and had toad in the hole with the lads last night. Very nice, too. ;)

    Food today:
weetabix (still one left as I didn't need yesterday)
Cheese/prawn omelette and salad, HM apple coleslaw, sml jacket
    Egg salad sandwich

Snacks - Orange, apple and mandarin

Why did I buy mandarins again? I saw the 29p reduced ticket and all sense went out the window....although these are marginally sweeter than the last lot.
MrsMc - I love navel oranges now I've finally tried them. :D They had a net of 6 for 59p in the reduced section in Morrisons and they are beautiful. Very thin skinned, too. Is that normal? Makes them lovely to eat. ;)

Didn't get very far with my menu planning yesterday so I shall have to give that some attention today. Need to shake it up a bit next month and have some fun with my food. :p

I'm losing track of who's said they've lost this week...getting too distracted by the chocolate eggs talk  so if you've lost well done!

    Catch you all later.

A dreary repeat plea from me - please make your own bread by hand, simple, quick, cathartic.
    Add seeds etc - it's still only 1point(in WW terms)for a 35gm slice.
