I know its on this thread somewhere, but just how easy is it to sell stuff (by that I mean the setting up of) books on GM? Does anyone know if the penny books fare better on there? I bought a book today about making videos, but it was such a cheap price and weighed so much I will have to take it back to the Charity Shop I think

I've just listed all my books on there and it is very easy to actually do it (quicker then Amazon) but I don't know how well they sell: none of mine have sold yet!0

I listed 2 books yonks ago with GM but, unless I got this wrong (happy to be corrected if I have) you can't 'big-up' your book and make it sound a better prospect than the others.
With Amazon I always promise same day dispatch by 1st class post and I think that at times that's been the decider between my book and even cheaper ones in the list.0 -
Having read some of the recent posts about Green Metropolis, decided to list my bestsellers on there that others are listing at 1p on Amazon. One thing that I don't really get though. If your book is heavier than a standard paperback they will give you an extra payment which it appears you are allowed to select. Based on second class post rates, the book I'm listing would cost approx £2 to post, but it would allow me to select a higher amount than that.
How does it work? The FAQs aren't clear.
Also, how long do books stay listed for? Is there a time limit?0
