I have so far resisted the urge to go out and buy loads of books especially to sell but its not gonna be long!!!
I think this is one of the friendliest threads on the whole forum!!!
When you get this message try searching with the author and the name of the book, you might just find it or a close one with maybe just a different publisher so you can still list it so long as you mention the difference0 -
I paid £8 for one book, and the others on there are selling at £20!
I'm glad you;ve got me started on this now!Murphy's No More Pies Club #209

Don't think so, don't sell them myself, think it works the same whatever you are selling. Am sure I will be corrected if this is wrong!!AMAZON SELLERS CLUB member 0024 come and join us :hello: make some space and get hold of some cash, we're on the Ebay and other auctions, Car Boot and Jumble Sales Board0 -

Does it have to be a credit card or can you give them debit card details instead?
I don't have a credit card and I don't want one either!!!
Thanks, Angela!!!!!! happens!!!:D0 -
Hi Angela, do you mean to sell? if so, a debit card is all that they need, they pay straight into your bank account every 2 weeks.
Voodoozoe and other Angela - it's been a friendly thread because everyone has given to it in order that everyone can take something away.
There have been the odd curmudgeonly posts but they've been far outweighed by hundreds of generous ones. I'm sure that this pooling of information has not been to anybodys detriment regardless of what the full-time Amazonians think. I think that we all deserve a pat on the back for effort :T0 -
Well it costs nothing to be nice!!! :ALaughing at my ancient signature...voodoobaby now 10 years old:eek:0

I don't understand then! I tried to put in the account number etc. and it just wouldn't take it. The card number and the expiry date etc just kept going blank and it wouldn't let me move onto the next step.
What can I be doing wrong?
Has this happened to anyone else? If so how did you get past this?
Thanks, Angela!!!!!! happens!!!:D0 -

No you don't have to be a pro seller.
But you do have to be pre-aproved for certain items, normally items high in the sales ranking lists Which I'm not yet! I have applied twice and they say I don't meet their criteria. But they won't tell you what the criteria is (a mixture of feedback, returns and the star sign you are born under as far as I can make out!!)
There are ways round it; I am selling an item but can not get into the correct category but there is another category that includes the item +case. I put a big bold NB NO CASE. The downside being you are right at the bottom of the page or even worse on the next page so no one sees it.
Hope that answers your question!?0 -

Sorry Angela, I don't know the answer to this, it may be a computer glitch on their part0
