selling books on Amazon - tips for more profit

Both my paperbacks cost 94p to post second class and they wouldn't fit into the smallest jiffy bag from the pound shop (the 10p ones) they had to go into the middling size ones.
I'm hoping though to get some used bags soon from a friend who buys lots of bits and bobs for her trading company and has been promising me her used bags for ages. If I sell anything else that all will help.

I've found a problem with selling on ebay...can I blame you please Apprentice tycoon? :j
As I have lots of books in a subject that I find interesting I started doing a general search using keywords on that subject to see what books is was worth sorting out my parents garage for. However, doing that keyword search I came across several books I hadn't got but which sounded really good. So far I have bought two books on Amazon, one on ebay and have a bid in on a 4th on ebay(that I am likely to lose) but with a possibility of buying that second book on Amazon later today.
So, I've sold two books and potentially bought four which gives me
a net increase for my decluttering of two books. <sigh> I don't think I've got the hang of this....

Erm ... me too SooI've bought 2 x new, and about 3 used lol.
Btw, if anyone has any Lett's books (the educational type), they seem to get a fair price. (i've no idea what the p+p would be though). I daren't list the ones I have because they're not mine. But it feels like they are seeing as they're taking up space is my house0 -
