Whilst the fees may be higher than Ebay, am I right in thinking you may not have got quite as much for listing it on Ebay, so it evens out in some ways? I could be wrong, never having sold on Ebay, but just something I thought I had read somewhere...
Very early on in this thread, a website called www.listbooks.co.uk was mentioned. This is a free site, and you select your own postage cost as well. I have bought a few books from here - not got round to listing on it though, but books I received were in excellent condition. It might be worth having a look at for listing...AMAZON SELLERS CLUB member 0024 come and join us :hello: make some space and get hold of some cash, we're on the Ebay and other auctions, Car Boot and Jumble Sales Board0 -

I've been on listbooks for about three months, or at least ever since I first saw it mentioned in another forum, but have never sold anything, that's why I thought I would give Amazon a try.
I sent the two books off yesterday and emailed the buyers to say books on their way, and have had a charming email back from one of them congratulating me on my first sale, wasn't that nice.

I have sold about 10 -15 books in all now, but I don't have any feedback. Do you think this is really important, and how do you go about asking for it. The fact I do not have any does not seem to be holding my buyers back and I post same day etc. Do you actually ask them to leave it??Grocery Challenge £139/240 until 31/01

Hi larmy
I've got no feedback yet, but not botherig to ask for it. I've had a couple of nice mails about the speed of delivery etc though.
Has anyone tried listing their old single version CD's yet? Some of them sell for more than the full length CD's0 -

I've not tried it, but I did a google cache and I found more people were waiting for music than books - but the google cache is flaky.
If you manage to find an album buy a band called "Rhubarb", your goign to be minted!0 -

Sofa, I've gone right off you...I have just about decided to drag myself away from the Amazon site where I sat and listed for hours yesterday and now you have got me thinking about all those CD singles in the cupboards. I haven't even finished books yet but am very tempted by trying a few CDs now.
I can't see me having any sort of life until I've listed everything. :eek:

Hi Soo .... I think it's the same for vinylIt's worth a try with the single cd's I'd imagine. My daughter left a few obscure ones hanging about but the cases had seen better days. I might see how much the cases are and try flogging them
I tried with my own (Gareth Gates, Will Young etc ... only 1p so they're staying put. Might use the cases though
)
I'm still on videos btw. I daren't go charity shopping - too much to look for now! lol.
Cassettes get a good listing price too, if you get a spare day :rotfl:0 -

No No, not videos and LPs as well....I'll never see daylight again! :rotfl:
I've just had to go out and get some food supplies and found myself browsing the cheap DVds in one store, just 'in case'.
