  • Ooh I can't resist posting cos I had a sneaky weigh this morning and made it to 11.7 which was my target for the end of January :) I'm posting cos we all know the way of these things and it might read 11.8 again tomorrow so making the most of the chance to be pleased. That said I will do everything I can today to keep it at 11.7 ;)

Not quite as bad a weekend as I expected and DH is away the next 2 weekends so prob a chance to make some real progress here. My next mini goal is to be 10.12 for St Patricks day :)

On which, not long till lent - ash wednesday is just after valentines day. Anyone giving anything up? Not religious myself but it is a good chance to go for a 'changing habits' type thing.

Well done on 11.7 BelfastGirl - thats good going? How's this week going?

How did the WI go Tara?

Having a mixed week this week so I'm not sure what the result will be - was in the Point for lunch today and I'm a sucker for their mexican potatoes... oh well, had a lovely lunch and then only had a bowl of cereal for tea so I might be ok! Also had a haircut today - so that might be another lb!! :rotfl:

  • Well I STS tonight and it could have been worse i guess considering my major chocolate binge and my almost total lack of exercise. At least the choc binge only lasted 24 hours though.

Back on the straight and narrow again this week I hope!

:) 1 lb off - so quite pleased with that considering the week's food consumption!! Can feel the motivation going a bit though - especially when the OH has a glass of wine in the evening... and then crisps... at least he's stopped bringing home chocolate every night...

Argghhh, that's just reminded me - I found a box of M&S chocolates this afternoon that I'd hidden in a cupboard over the fridge at Xmas and now they are calling my name....

Good luck for the weekend everyone!!!
  • Well done Netskii!!!
  • Anyone any updates? I'm asking now because I have a feeling I won't want to update after WI tonight :) by some miracle I did lose 1lb last week but lightening doesn't strike twice.

    Anyone got anything to report?

Oh and anyone doing anything for lent?

Hi there Belfastgirl - I was wondering where everyone had gone!! Well done on the 1lb last week and good luck for tonight!

Update not good... off the wagon this week and trying desperately to get back on before it disappears over the horizon!! Half term hasn't been good for waistline or purse!!! So back to basics for me, I've dug some chicken legs out of the freezer and will have those for dins tonight and make soup for tomorrow. Anyone got any tasty low fat recipes?

WI not till friday and I'm not making eye contact with the scales until then!!!
