  • I am back!

I hadn't left but Virgin Media decided to pull the plug on the net because somehow (and they are still looking into it) our MONTHLY bill came to £149.78. and I am serious. Looks like big mistake on their part but they wanted me to pay £100 so I could get connected again. So I politly cancelled the service and got myself bt and sky wich took longer than I would have liked it too. 14days all and all,

BUT JESUS MUN. that is the type of stuff I CAN DO without. Anyway busy busy catching up with you all.

I am hoping you have been very good in the weightloss dept. cos I am doing craply.

Will update you all in a bit :-)

    xxxxxxx MISSED YOU ALLXXXXXXXXX

    • Why can some people stuff their cake-'oles with absolute carp & still be slim?
    • Why do some folk have long legs while others have short bodies etc?
    • Why can't we ALL be equal in everything, especially money & Good Health:o

    Hi,

    New here....

    Not fair, that is it?

I used to really envy the beer and curry monsters who could consume a week's worth of calories in an evening with no effect on their waistline....

The offspring have a friend who lives on a certain glucose drink, take-away pizza & whole chocolate shops every day, yet hasn't an ounce of body fat anywhere:mad: Unless you could investigate the space where the brain should be, cuz intelligence & good manners are equally non-existant:rotfl:

Are you on any medication - as some side effects are weight gain!

Also I really understand you don`t want to go out but you have the right to take a walk same as everyone else! don`t be scared just go up the road and back. What about walking around the house every hour maybe.

    Lots of luck x
Make £2 a day challenge - doing well so far.

I'm awaiting results of yet more blood tests, but I've decided that if I'm told again that I'm borderline for whatever they've tested for, I'm gunna demand treatment.

I've spent too many hours sitting in doctor's surgeries to be told that I'm not "bad" enough to warrant help. Sound's a tad selfish & verging on hypochondria doesn't it:o but I truly do not know how much longer I can carry on feeling so bludding creamed:embarasse as in crackered--rhyming slang:p

I so want to be active; enthused; motivated ...& feel pathetic hoping I have an illness when others are facing so much more:mad: . . . . . . . . . . . . . whoever decided on the term "vicious cycle" was very perceptive of the vicious part.

    Well done Lisa!

I'm doing 'craply' in the weightloss dept. now. Dh came home from Russia and we got stuck into painting and clearing out the house, getting ready to put it on the market. We were at it (decorating!!!) for almost 3 weeks and I was stressed out. I didn't have time to cook properly and we ate takeaways too often. I got waylaid and I stopped going to SW. I haven't weighed myself since. I'll try my best on my own - and plan to go back once everything's back to normal.

We put an offer in for a house and it was accepted. The estate agent told us not to put our house on the market until it had been accepted, as we didn't want to be left homeless if we didn't get the house. We thought she was talking rubbish as houses don't sell that fast! But she was right. We put our house on the market at 4pm on a Friday. Had our first viewing on Monday evening - and the following day we had an offer, which we've accepted. And we're moving on the 20th of June. Dh is back in Russia and i'm having to sort everything out (I have power of attorney for him because he's not here - i'm thinking of having him declared insane and insitutionised :D That wouldn't work though, as I need him to work to pay for the mortgage ;) ) He comes home a week before we move.

My computer has been packed away for 3-4 weeks already. I have to beg the kids to let me on theirs. They're not very generous in that department. The only reason i'm on now, is because my daughter's still asleep!

Good vibes to everyone who's trying to lose weight. :)

The stress has mostly gone now. There's still some of course, as there always is when you move house. The hardest part is over now - we've sold. I think I was stressing that we wouldn't get this place sold. We didn't even have to show lots of people round for a viewing as we sold to the first couple. That'll teach me to worry. :p

anyone who is still looking for a diet to follow ,Ive tried them all over the last 20 some years and at last Ive found the winning formula ,its called the jigsaw diet ,sometimes known as the unit diet ,its got the generosity of slimming world but its not as faffy, plus its got the flexability of weightwatchers ...best of both worlds , google in jigsaw slimming to take a look for yourselves , if you decide to do it ,the books are often sold on ebay for less.
