Hi Lisa. It;s good to hear from you. :)

I think I might have put on this week. :( My dh is away and the kids are on holiday from school. My 12yo daughter won't go out of the house, so that means i'm stuck in too. I'm so bored. My mum says I shouldn't be bored because i've so much to do around the house (we're supposed to be putting it up for sale soon). I don't want to hear that lol. I just can't get into the groove right now. I'm probably lonely. Dh won't be home for another 2 weeks.

    Hi Lisa,
I have been following this thread with great interest i like everyone else am over weight and extremely unhappy about it and even though i have 4 children one who is only 8 weeks and a hubby i am really lonely, i was wondering where you are in Torbay as i am in Torquay if you are close and ever fancied a walking buddy , my hubby works 26 hour shifts so i tend to do everything by myself i have been doing lots of walking lately i am enjoying it but do get a bid fed up with answering myself back.........lol

    Hello,

Hope you are all well. I just woke up craving chocolate and ate some bread and nutella- this is getting worse!! Weather doesn't help- nor the lack of easy, cheap comfort food and lack of self discipline- I love the idea of walking buddies for moneysavers- perhaps a thread for people looking for people in their local area to go on walks!!! It could help with loneliness too! I asked BF to do some regular exercise and he said running but my knee and fear wasn't too excited by that offer!
Green and minimal chemicals is the new black- I know a fair old bit about sustainability, specially energy and transport stuff. If I can help- please ask!

Aw Lisa the mirror thing struck a nerve with me too - I finally managed to drag my lazy a** back to the gym last week and caught sight of myself in the mirror as I was doing some lunges. Really not pretty at all :( I was going to weight myself this morning but didn't dare so I have that to look forward to tomorrow.

All I can say as someone at my highest weight in a good while just remember how horrible that feels. All your clothes too tight, skin bad from not eating properly, and just the feeling of heaviness that you carry around with you. Keep that in your mind before you fall off the wagon!!

I am climbing back on as we speak. helped by the fact that it's a glorious day here in Belfast.

    Good luck everyone
