Hugs Jill
I know having children is lovely, rewarding and all that. It's also tiring, frustrating, relentless and unpaid only people don't tell you that bit. Then, when we feel bad and ask for help we feel like we've failed because we're not this smiley happy image portrayed in the media. Tell your OH you need more help. Try and accept that how your feeling is normal...I remember it well and if you think you need to go back and talk to your GP. Until then, offload all you like. Housework will wait however hard it is too make yourself leave it (sorry pigpen, don't shout at me!), make sure you look after yourself. If you ever want to pm me feel free. Hugs to you xx0 -
Sorry, meant to say, hello shelvis! xx0

Evening all
Pigpen/Hex2 - you are both so lucky to have OH's that actually do something other than go to work. My OH bless him, when he had 9 days off managed to take DD to school and back each day and he washed up twice, and sanded a tiny piece of dodgy paintwork down - I cant remember him doing anything else at all. I still had to cook tea everyday I came in from work, still had to load DW,WM and TD (refuse to do his ironing), and still had to do all the cleaning !!!!
Hex - fireplace is a wow, why cant I have found a handyman rather than one that was a good sh** - oops did I say that
MOAM - you sound like you had a very proud mum moment, I had one too when I found DS YR11 report this morning and I quote his form tutor " H's academic performance continues to impress. His subjects reports are testimony to both his talents and his industry. I have missed his supportive presence this year while he has been mentoring younger students and I hope he feels he has gained from this position of responsibility. His attendance record is superb and he richly deserves the success his target grades indicate that he will achieve". I was so proud of him as he not a natural scholar but has worked hard :T :T .
cars - who said to put cars on the list - if I have to clean a car its time to get rid of it. I will never ever ever clean a car, I will do anything to get someone else to clean my car but will not do it myself, I have flirted with blokes at work to get them to clean my car, I have paid people, traded cakes for car cleans but car cleaning is a BLOKES JOB and so is filling up the 710 under the bonnet
Fallen angel -My get up and go got up and went around the middle of the week again and I'm like that with decorating having taken 6 years to get the second coat of paint on the dining room and still havent finished it.
Jill - Massive hugs to you. I would say to you close your eyes to any mess and just concentrate on yourself and the children. Take time out for yourself even if it means putting the children somewhere safe for 1/2 hour and having a relax in the bath. Noone is getting to get sick if you dont clean the kitchen or put a homecooked meal on the table for a while. Mess doesnt matter but people do and that includes you. It doesnt matter if things slide for a while, none of us are superwoman however hard we try to be.
And as for what I've done tonight :rotfl: from my earlier list
So tonight I will
[strike]Go and collect DD from friends[/strike] Yep done that one
Take Gammon that I baked to my friend - Nope will have to take to her at work tomorrow

But I have sorted the meat for the freezer including dividing a massive piece of pork into 2
Cleared the junk out of the veg rack and put the potatoes and onions away that have been on the top since friday

Rach glad the wedding went fantastic, the photos are lovely.
I've been feeling really positive the last few days, the yoga is definately helping! Carvery yesterday was scrum, enjoyed every mouthful.
My loan cheque has cleared!only £3327.16 to go now!
I don't know wether to do this weeks lists as they come, or stick to last weeks.Hmm I'll do last weeks, the bathroom needs doing as I had to bath Shadow yesterday, after a walk up on the moors and rolling in every bit of poo she could find
Skull has cleaned up well in the washing powder! Going to leave it to dry completely, then hairspray it until I can find some laquer.

I'm in again - one of these weeks I'll make it on the thread before page 5!
Couldn't sleep so got up - am in a quandry over whether or not to go for a new job - 13 month secondment that I just missed out on last time so I've just done myself a pros and cons list and the cons list is about 4 times longer!!! It surprised me really about the sort of things that cropped up. I think I'd be better off staying as I am but I've still got doubts.
Brilliant to see you back Rach - glad you had a great day and the pics were fantastic. Are you enjoying that new job?
Good idea poohbear - if you don't leave them the money to spend then they'll have to fork out themselves if they want junk - it might make them think twice
Samphire - I just luurrve the smell of samphire - it always reminds my of my childhood summer holidays by the sea in Cornwall
pigpen - :hello: mean mommy. Whydo I geta mental picture of the scene in Educating Rita where Julie Walters knocks down a wall with a sledgehammer and gets half the ceiling fall down round her
embb -
AnW'sMum - hope you are feeling better
hex - owwwww you can't even sit comfortably - I hope you got that azalea back and wow on the fireplace - me like muchly
tinselfairy - :hello: and welcome back. Wonderful news on your forthcoming newfamily member - how old is she?
MOAM - aaawwwwwwwwwww how cute was he!!!
Oh Jill honey - :grouphug: - you definitely need more help, support and ME time. Hope things improve for you soon x
Will tackle my list later - think I'm gonna try and get some more sleep - oops just noticed the time - looks like my OH has overslept!!I'd rather be watching CSI!0
