Morning all.

Tinsel - that's fantastic news I hope it all comes to fruition very quickly.
Shelvis - Welcome
Hex - I'm beginning to envy you. First your beautiful garden, now a wood burning stove and then a long wheel base land rover - these are just the things I'd love to have

JillD - big, big hugs to you. I'm carp at advise but what I would say is don't be too hard on yourself.

Right to bath and then work.

Have a good one ladies

Morning lovely ladies:D

((Jill)) Men just dont get it, they dont understand how much it takes to run a home and look after kids! I only have 1 child and i struggle to cope at times, there are never enough hours in the day, i wouldnt cope with any more:o
Getting back to work might help, i work 2 nights a week and its so nice to get out the house for a bit, i'm a normal person again and not a 'mummy'.

Just going to get a wash on, then make up lunch to take to the zoo. Will try and fly before i go as i'm planning to start studying tonight.

First the important stuff.

JillD - Big hugs to you sweetie. I remember how hard the breast feeding during the night can be, and I only had 2 babies to look after not 3! After about 3 months i started to feel really run down and low. On the baby forum i used to be on one of the mums recommended Floradix (its a liquid multi vitamin) it has loads of good stuff in they also said zinc and having babies robs us of vital levels. I took both and after a few day felt so much better. No it wont cure you hubbie of being a selfish git (well it didnt help with my DH lazyitus) but I just felt better inside. Hope you feel better soon hun! Bet pigpen has sorted you out - she is the wise woman from black adder :rotfl: .

Tinsel - Fab news about the new daughter, keeping everything crossed for you.

Well I'm here - still feeling pretty lousy though so what I actually want to do is crawl back into bed!

DS has his jabs this afternoon so going over to my mate's house around lunchtime so SS can stay there while I go. That means I need to do my flying this morning but I don't feel up to it at the moment so I'll wait a bit and see if I feel revitalised!

Rach - you looked gorgeous.

Jill - hugs.

Tinselfairy - that's brilliant news.

Sorry if I've forgotten anyone.

We had a lovely day in Scarborough yesterday. The weather was fantastic. The 2 littlies had a donkey ride, I was surprised that they wasn't scared. And i had the BEST fish and chips that i have ever tasted. It was very busy and the traffic was bad on the way back but we had fantastic day all round.

Rach - you look stunning, very happy
Solwaykid - cos I'm pyshic and know your ill, LOL!, have a hug x

Had a lovely day yesterday, DH actually got off his butt and did some gardening, had IL's over for sunday lunch - hadn't cooked one in ages so really enjoyed it.

Have been up since 2am with DS!!!! Poor mite isn't well at all, won't eat or drink, has a rash and just screamed his head off 2am till about 5.30am when he finally fell asleep for half an hour. DH was good (for once) and got up about 3am to help me and we all ended up on the sofa. Going to doc's at 10.10am but hes snuggled next to me now watching tv so seems a bit better. Should be having his MMR this afternoon but theres no way he'll have it today.

So having about 4 hours, max, sleep and 2 glasses of champers at lunch and 2 glasses of red wine last night, I feel like poop! Will pop into the big Mr T near the docs if LO lets me and stock up on some cola, etc for a boast. No flying for me today!!! Just looking after my boy and taking it easy.

See you all later (if I can stay awake).
Lightbulb moment 15th Feb 2007:doh: Now Debt Free and plan on it staying that way!

Baby on board!:D
• List to follow, but thought you would like this i got sent:

Man was sick and tired of going to work every day while his wife stayed @ home.

He wanted her to see what he went through so he Prayed:

'Dear Lord: I go to work every day and put in 8 hours while my wife merely stays at home. I want her to know what I go through, so please allow her body to switch with mine for a day. Amen.

God, in his infinite wisdom, granted the man's wish.

The next morning, sure enough, the man awoke as a woman

He arose, cooked breakfast for his mate, awakened the kids, set out their school clothes, fed them breakfast, packed their lunches, drove them to school, came home and picked up the dry cleaning, took it to the cleaners and stopped at the bank to make a deposit, went grocery shopping, then drove home to put away the groceries, paid the bills and balanced the checkbook. He cleaned the cat's litter box and bathed the dog.

Then it was already 1 P.M. and he hurried to make the beds, do the laundry, vacuum, dust, and sweep and mop the kitchen floor.
Ran to the school to pick up the kids and got into an argument with them on the way home. Set out milk and cookies and got the kids organized to do their homework, then set up the ironing board and watched TV while he did the ironing.

At 4:30 he began peeling potatoes and washing vegetables for salad, breaded the pork chops and snapped fresh beans for supper.

After supper, he cleaned the kitchen, ran the dishwasher, folded laundry, bathed the kids, and put them to bed.

At 9 P.M. he was exhausted and, though his daily chores weren't finished, he went to bed where he was expected to make love, which he managed to get through without complaint. The next morning, he awoke and immediately knelt by the bed and said: Lord, I don't know what I was thinking. I was so wrong to envy my wife's being able to stay home all day. 'Please, oh please, let us trade back.'

The Lord, in his infinite wisdom, replied: 'My son, I feel you have learned your lesson and I will be happy to change things back to the way they were. You'll just have to wait nine months, though. You got pregnant last night.

Thank you for putting up this thread - it could save my life!

Situation - house looks like 'before' for a prozac advert. Christening in 14 days (and haven't got all the formal invites out and you wouldn't believe the story behind that) full of cold, Neat Freak Dad coming to stay next week, full of cold, absolutely going frantic. DS is thirteen months now and from this morning it looks like his routine is totally off.

I daren't dip into reading this thread, posting to keep myself honest, but rach, you look absolutely beautiful, really lovely. I hope it was a wonderful day.

Apart from the list, target this week is twenty bin sacks of rubbish, same for charity shop & same for ebay.

I thought Monday was kitchen & dining?

Anyway, up guards and at 'em.
Always another chapter

• The gathering yesterday went really well, the house was spotless by the time everyone arrived, and thankfully isn't too much of a mess now. So hopefully now that I've got the place all tidy I should be able to keep it that way.
