Big hugs Jilld - I really feel for you - would PM you with advice but I am crap at it!! I struggle to cope myself - end up swearing and shoutin at the kids and then feeling bad - I think motherhood is just a huge guilt trip most of the time.

I do try and look at the positives - we are all healthy, we are not poverty stricken etc and some days this really works. - I also have days when I think stop stressing - don't clean up, have chippy for tea etc etc but more guilt usually follows - god - I had better stop typing - didn't realise I was so mixed up.

basically I am just trying to say that we all feel like you do sometimes - hope that helps - although if you really are at the end of your tether then ask for help - family, friends, health visitor (although mine are carp!), gp etc

I made a start today as I was excited about getting on with it!

If you are anything like me then a job hanging over your head seems to stop you from doing anything else, you are to busy avoiding doing it to do anything else.

You know the answer don't you - get that decorating finished!

Off to bed now. Hugs JillD I hope all your kids sleep through the night. A little thought:

'count your blessings everyday before they're grown and flown away'

'cleaning the house when kids are growing is like shovelling snow when it's still snowing'
The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair
